Navy seal killed at gun range along with another person

Do you live under a bridge? 99% of the Marines I've talked to said how they wish they'd had to opportunity to blast them "sand niggers" and how all those Hanoi Jane (Fonda) types here in the USA should be fair game too. The Marines either are that delusional, or really think they're just as elite as SEALs. One Marine told me how his commanding officer was a coward and a traitor for making them bug out when, "I could've killed a few of them turban heads." Marines don't respect officers much, "If I didn't want to work for a living, I'd become an officer." I don't know if they get taught that to improve morale.

Everyone says to read the theories. I have. It almost got me killed. I say get a Life. Understand what is real.

It is generally called dilettante thinking, amateur.

It sounds so silly to say, "see how the wars were avoidable" by action we should not have taken decades before. What??

Man, you really sound like you are thinking in the Ivory Tower.

We can't go back. Yes, we fucked up years before and now we have war. It is unavoidable.

We can't fix the fuck up that already happened. can't go back. But, that's no reason to wimp. We caused it.

Our responsibly is to not shirk the war the USA needs now, to un-twist the fuck ups of the past.
Why is it "our" responsibility? I didn't do it. There's no fixing our fuck ups. We caused it in the past. See, this is what we like to call a feud. We can't fix the feud. The only thing we can do is continue interfering or move along.

I disagree. We had the Vietnam war and the draft was in place. our society will always be divided into those powerful enough to have their sons (and perhaps daughters) avoid the draft or the consequences of the draft and those who will always be subject to it. Nothing is likely to change were the draft to be reinstituted.
And I lived though it and was not drafted. Had a high lottery pick. Many might be surprised at the number of guys that volunteered and went for several tours. It is what made us realize pros are much better than conscripts in just about every way. It was a shitty little war but the only one they had. Conscripts just overheat the enemy cannons. The Pros learn the craft.

And I am quite sure, since Cain slew Able, war is the oldest profession.

The peaceniks, and I was one for decades, really need to think about this. There is War. Always. So, shitty little wars in far off hell holes or make the hell holes here.

Now you volunteer because you want to fight, knowing there is a good possibility, if not 100%, that you will be sent down range. And all this gear is over the head of conscripts. You have to care about the gear, the fight and honor the hierarchy.

As I just heard they are training double the number of drone strike pilots as manned fighter pilots. Maybe in the future we will all be conscripted for push button War.

But, why does the Left always call for the Draft?

Well I understand that point of view. But, consider that we got ourselves into these fuck-ups as a Nation and it is the World that is holding us responsible. We will be nuked, at some point and most will see it as payback or karma.

So, you would come over to the Hatfield and say OK, but, that was them! Not us! We want to move on now. Yeah, we have fucked it all up. So what? :)

Dude, we can't tell that to the world that is actively trying to pay us back for Japan. You inherit the sins of our fathers along with me.

Remember, in this world from time, lost in time, the appropriate punishment is death to ALL the generations. We aren't exempt from that.

It would be like Tony Soprano, at the top of the money pile saying, "Oh, I'm leaving the Mafia. I'll take my largess I gained and move on. You all can deal with my fuck ups but I get to live in peace, right?" No.

You consent as We to be governed by We and the world does say it was you and I that fucked up. They are after us plus our children and want our women in Burkka. Reality.

Do you not think that there are some actions we could take as a nation that would lessen the hatred towards us?

I can't imagine Americans would be too fond of China if they decided to set up military bases throughout America, and meddle in our affairs.

I thought Ron Paul was a bit of a nutter, but I was intrigued by his isolationist approach to foreign affairs. Maybe we'd lose less treasure and spill less blood if we did a better job of minding our own business.

BUT, there is a money motive behind war ..... just like everything else in this country.

No.

War is the basis of Religion and Religion is the basis of Civilization. Thus it is ever so.

You still see it as not minding our business as you define it. But, that's opinion. Don't you realize that was exactly what China had in mind for Japan? But, they were doomed by the Divine Wind, the kamakazi. A big tifun sank their landing attempt. It was very much like the Defeat of the Spanish Armada. They would have set up and meddled in England.

Some day, you too, may understand the reason no one comes here to set up military presence and meddle in our affairs is ONLY because we don't let them. And that comes down to the militia of one, via the 2nd A.

Or take Darwin. Imperial Japan did. We had to run them off. If they tried that here, every Minute Man would flow there on their own to fight. We would not evacuate except the woman with small children. We'd show them what the hole is for.

When we act nice what do we get? We get the same as if we don't. Ron Paul and you are not thinking it through. No one is going to let us, the nuke criminals, to just isolate ourselves now and mind our business. We spend treasure now and can afford it, using China gold, that our good credit gets us.

With your way our treasure will just get taken. Our enemies within are maneuvering now to do that. Disarm, scrape the Bill of Rights, and open the door to anyone.; to invite and foster confusion and doubt. And it is especially ironic that you think limiting guns is reasonable.

What is reasonable is gun safety from the 1st grade and an education on the Rights....before it's too late. These generational emotion tampering exercises to make fear of guns and the owners no better than murderers is a big problem. It will backfire but will leave a big hole in the Americanism that has kept us safe.

War is real. It can't be wished away. There is no Age of Aquarius. Fire arms are the best now. But, we must keep the Right to a 4 phase plasma rifle when those are the Arms of the day.

Didn't you get the idea about the Mafia? We can't get out. We will be punished to death for the sins of our Fathers. Perhaps you will say, "not me, not me!" When they come for you, your birth place is your death sentence.

Good luck with that. Reality really bites, doesn't it?

What we hand off to the next generation, in this World, will look like mistakes no matter what. It can't change because the new World generation is waking up and already blaming it on me.

Soon, they will blame you. Get used to it.

AMEN!

I'd add to this that if we are going to send our kids into harm's way, those of us who sit home in comfort should have to sacrifice as well and pay for the damn war rather than bankrupt our nation. Maybe if hit everyone the public would less apt to support our horrendous foreign policy and love of killing people on the other side of the globe!

"We can bomb the world to pieces, but we can't bomb it into peace" -Michael Franti
If the payment was more tangible as in we had to pay out of our own pockets then there would rarely be wars if ever and when there was it wouldn't last long. I.E. If the US Gov't sent us a bill for $30,000 for the first year of the war few would pay it without good reason, then when the second year rolls around an less people payed the 30,000$ bill last year the few that did still support the war would have a bill of say $90,000 and so on...lol

war is from the state and religion, normal people don't want to go around power brokering and building armies...Instead they have to hide the fact that we are actually paying for it so they can do their thing.

Former congressman and libertarian icon Ron Paul tweeted a startling reaction to the death of SEAL sniper Chris Kyle on Monday:
Kyle and a friend were both killed by a veteran struggling with PTSD while working with him at a gun range on Saturday.

The former Marine, Eddie Ray Routh, turned his weapon on the other two men and shot them at close range, according to news accounts.
Kyle was the author of the best-selling “American Sniper,” which detailed his time as a record-holding SEAL sniper.
Paul has a long history of being opposed to American military intervention abroad.

I'm not going to read that. Anyone that can coin a phrase like that has no idea about courage.

bitter reality, I understand if you can't accept it.
It's nice to know the real Ron Paul comes out after retirement. I used to say that kind of shit too until I get up past my early 20s. Guess I'm not much of a rebel. I have respect for for the dead, even if I didn't respect their actions in life.

I didn't say anything about the truth of it. It isn't true. And it is disgusting for a thought leader to say that.

I have a real angst against quoting scripture in Politics.

But, this paraphrase in juxtaposition to the subject is just more meaningless and low brow, Ron Paul.

It's alledged the shooter was a Marine Vet. whom Kyle was helping with PTSD along with a couple of other vets. For some reason this particular bloke just snapped and killed Kyle & his mate.

Can't stress the dangers of giving people suffering from PTSD any type of SSRI's. Veterans Dept. really need to get their act together and start looking after these blokes and get them the treatment they need.

edit - if the US government can spend the money training them, paying them and everything else that goes with it, they can spend the money to look after them when they come back from deployments

they were at the shooting range and when the other two went to check out the target the guy with PTSD flipped out and though they were real bad guys

I imagine when they are heading back. As the walk away, no threat.

Seeing two enemy approaching.....poor guy....if it's true.
