Nearing end od my white widdow, purple haze grow

Hi beautiful people of RIU sorry for the thread title -

I started a grow back in September and it is quickly nearing the end. I thought it would be nice of me to share what I've done thus far.

PLEASE DON'T POST UNTIL YOU SEE A PICTURE OF WHAT ELSE I FOUND GROWING IN MY GARDEN!!!!

I ordered White Widow seeds from http://amsterdammarijuanaseeds.com
and had a few seeds from some Purple Haze I had when I lived in California

I germinated 6 seeds (3WW and 3PH) in a damp paper towel in a ziplock bag. Then when they sprouted I fit them with rock wool in my six holed 10 gallon hydro tub+airpump.

Started in the closet where my dryer should have been so in case someone were to come by they'd never know.

Lined the walls with aluminum foil

Used 2 100WCFLs until the babies were strong enough to support my 400W HPS

I used the whole line of GeneralHydroponics nutes
(floramicro, floragrow, florabloom)

Horms SUPERthrive +
Grotek's Super OxyH202

At this Point they were on a 24hr cycle of light

The babies were growing beautifully and I was hoping for a nice even distribution of male vs. female because I know that I'll hardly get much out of this grow due to the size-
SO if I were to get some seeds I'd be set for this coming Spring'09.


I was hoping to get a cross between the Widow and Haze... That'd be pretty sweet. Did I? Well... you will just have to wait until I get to the sexing portion.


When they began to grow I had to lift my HPS up so I just used hooks into my wall.. BAD idea- the hooks gave way one day while I was away and almost crushed and burned my babies... thankfully I was only a few minutes from checking on them anyway... I thought it a good time to get a grow tent (32"x32").

- I also found me some lavender to grow along side...

SOO now we get to the good stuff-

The time had come to begin flowering, the kids were about 2' tall except for one WW that is probably 2.5'-

I changed the hours to 12/12 and gave more florabloom

they began their flowering on Nov. 16th 2008

- I had also created my own carbon filter... I bought a duct fan (for like heating ducts??) and a carbon filter for the heater for your house.. i wrapped it around the fan and it has been very effective.

The time for sexing had come, and I was almost heart broken. Four of the Six kids were male. BOO - So I ended up with 1 WW fem and 1 PH fem.
I took the males out and kept one growing so I could use the pollen but control it so all my dank weed would not become seedweed


I pollinated the Purple Haze so I will have seeds that are a White Widow x Purple Haze - mmmmmmm it will be a good spring.

here are pictures of how tall they were getting and how some of the buds began looking

(the third picture on the right is the PH)

I'll finish up to the present tonight when I get home from school

So I guess I should have posted again sooner! anyways - if you know how to fix the title of my grow journal then you should fix it for me mmk?

I just sat and picked 45 seeds off of my purple haze... beautiful... because it is not onlay purple haze but a mix from the white widow!! Hello new beautiful breed.

I am getting very anxious because i am approaching the 9th week of flowering- soon to harvest!!!!!!!


Well here are some pictures of what else was growing in my garden! Isn't she beautiful as well? ;)

Beautiful Plants and very BEAUTIFUL Lady..lol...what more can you ask for...
