need a little advice

i just got my 400w hps ballast today. can i grow my sprouts under that intense of a light or should i leave em outside till their mature enough to go up to the closet????

You could raise the light up a little higher than it would be for more mature plants... but as long as its not close enough to physically burn them, I think it'll be fine.

Keep your heat in check...always have a fan blowing upward towards the light to blow the heat up...definitely would bring them inside...outside this time of year will make them stretch, plus bug infestation.

another question

i have a plant i started late outdoors and would like to bring it in with the sprouts, im sorta concerned about bugs, as the leaves are ate at...i sprinkled some bug powder for edible plants on it and the bugs seemed to have gave up. Its about 8 inches tall and seems to be thriving.. could it be mixed in the bunch or should i let it go??
