you use 400 to 500 ACTUAL Watts thats like 3 of my panels put together how many CFLs and what wattage added to my LED panel would you suggest if I wanted to get 3+Ounces
You should be able to yield 3 ounces with the light you have. Supplementing with CFL will improve that. For flowering, which is where you will benefit most from added light, 2700k is a good spectrum to look for. I don't actually use all of the lighting I have until the final month of flowering. I would suggest 2 or 3 of the 23 watters. You can always add more if you feel it's needed.

Its a Grow Box it is 60 inches tall 24 inches wide 36 inches deep I have two Holes on top with two cpu fans over each hole for exhaust and there is a hole near the bottom with a cpu fan for intake they are in Miracle grow soil and I dont plan on fertilizing Im going to veg for 3 -4 weeks I also plan to do a scrog if I dont get a good yield Im going to try HPS

get two 3' HO T5 units double tube units. and hang them sideways (front and back), from veg and initial 12/12 use 65K bulbs. The led stays on top centered, high enough to spread over all the plants.

Once stretch is mostly done switch to 27K or 3K tubes

with a good hydro grow you can get a half pound, possibly more

Those T5HO lights will definitely give you more punch. 6500k has too much blue for optimum flowering. It will work but you will get bigger and frostier buds if you use a warmer color. 2700k is good for flowering.

Although the light doesn't look very good, you've purchased it and you should get at least one grow out of it, maybe more. It'll veg fine, but that's not enough power to flower 3 plants. It'll draw 160-170W actual, add some warm (2700k) CFL's or T5's for supplemental lighting when you flip to flower. I believe you said the space is 2x3' and you have plenty of height, keep the light 18-22" above the canopy, although you CAN go closer, don't, if you go too close you'll loose coverage and blend of the spectrums so it's not beneficial, been there, done that. If you don't get 3-4 oz from that light, it won't be a lighting issue…

Hey thanks for replying again but I raised my light today and put the seedlings in different pots I went on HTG and I found this Light http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-ft-T5-TEK-GROW-LIGHT-w-VEG-BULBS-Floro-Fluorescent-lamp-24-in-6400K-tubes-4-/160720398285?pt=US_Hydroponics&hash=item256baea7cd
Im going to get two of them and 8 3000k bulbs that should be sufficient 20000 lumens of t5+ 170watt actual LED

These are cheaper and easier to manage.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/T5-Grow-Light-2ft-4Lamps-DL824-Fluorescent-HO-Hydroponic-Bloom-Veg-Daisy-Chain-/321254014001?pt=US_Hydroponics&hash=item4acc3b3c31

that htg unit uses pl bulbs, the ones shaped in a U. Straight T5 tubes are more efficient and replacement availability is higher.
Thanks for telling me that I thought that light bulbs looked different I will get two of those and 8 agromax 3000k bulbs how does that sound also what could you yield off just 20000 lumens if you could estimate just wondering how much extra yield from these lights I will get

hard to say how much extra yield you will get. there are so many variables including your skill as a grower.

I think I can safely say that with good growing conditions, adding the four tubes of T5HO 24" sidelights on each side to your center LED will probably double the yield over just the LED. If your plants are a tall variety with a lot of stretch maybe more.
