Need Assistance Designing my GrowRoom…Please Help!!!!!

Noticed that you are very helpful and contribute knowledgeable and constructive information. Currently setting up my grow tent and saw that you actually drew a basic diagram for another member concerning a can, cooltube, fan lay out. I would be in great appreciation if you could give me a simplistic set up of the most beneficial usage of the equipment which I have been giving by a great buddy by default.

1 180 watt L.E.D.
400 watt HPS/MH cooltube
One 6" carbon filter
2 6" vortex inline duct blowers
Tent is 48x24x60
I also have about 16.5 feet of 6" duct

First grow set-up with this equipment so please explain air flow and what not, as well as how it should be set up. I have had trouble with heat in this closet and hot res temps. (L.E.D. and hydro run before)

you're going to be hard to get a response as this post tends to say "design my grow room for me" I would suggest researching more and then going into details on specific functions and aspects of the grow. You have a list of the ingredients. Now dive into each individual item on the list and find out how those things works in relation to what it is you are trying to achieve: An environment for which your plants can grow. Along with this you will want to find a style and method of grow.

I can understand that thought process and it is noted. I actually have actually planned this growroom out, it is just the maximizing of fans in which my question lies I guess.

I have read that the cooltube, the carbon can filter and the exhaust fan can be used with the same duct tubing, utilizing the grow tent's air to cool the light, is this correct? Also by doing this I can use my second fan for intake…

Or does anybody actually recommend using one fan for just the cooling of the light and then the second fan for exhaust with the can filter?

I am in planning stage as well, but based on my research, i would assume that one fan would be plenty enough to filter/cool/ventilate that area! (in that order) just my two cents! Someone please correct me if i am wrong

Im sure it depends on the cfm's of the fan you are using, Im not so sure you'll need 2 of those fans, maybe consider a passive intake? It would save you a buck or two. But judging by the list you posted money isn't and issue.

I actually have 2 6" fans and they both are 440cfm's…
From my research and what advice I have received my grow tent is small enough to do a filter, cooltube, ventilation set-up with one fan! But since I have 2 fans, I guess I will use one fane specificly for cooltube and light and use the other fan for the exhaust and carbon filter can

Ya, use one fan for exhaust/carbon filter and the other with your cool tube, you don't need an intake fan.
