Need denser heavier nugs

well, you can tape a wet coffee filter to the underside of the lid of a mason jar containing dried herbs, and it can fluff them up in 24 hrs considerably. dont let the buds touch it directly, you can get mold. and never leave it in there more than a day or two.

That will just make them moist and wet and people will be angry with wet weight. You should go buy an additive to feed it during flowering like advanced nutrients big bud and it will make your buds swell and get a lot denser during flowering and then you will have bigger denser buds even after they dry

i agree an additive added will do the trick but first and foremost make sure you are giving them enough light, air ventilation is key, and pick a strain thats heavy on the indca side. my first harvest ever was purple power from amsterdam seed bank and it was 50% sativa 50% indica but it grew more sativa like and the buds were very fluffy not real dense at all just my 2 cents

IMO, strain type is the biggest factor in bud density by far. Second would be light intensity and indirectly heat. Third would include a heavy phosphorous rich nutrient in flowering to ensure the plant has all the materials needed to develop dense calyxes and resin.

On top of using base flowering nutes I like to use PK13/14 in the 5th week of flowering and "DM Potash Plus (potash, phosphoric acid,K)" until the final flush. I hit them with a flowering hormone ("Buddah bud" 2-Chloroethyltrimethylammonium Chloride, N,P,K,Ca,Fe,B&Mn) this time in week 5 which has caused my colas to double in size while remaining nice and dense. I also like to train my colas to grow horizontally to the light so they get light all the way along the branch to form more budsites and tighter buds. Decreasing the distance between the plant and the light in later weeks also works for me. Sure they get a bit singed sometimes but they love the extra light and fatten right up.

Pic 1 is the end of week 4 of flowering and pic 2 is the end of week 6.
