I am relativly new to this site, and I have some questions I need answered please.I am starting from seed for the first time as I have always used clones. The seeds germinated Ok and I put them in a soiless mix(sunshine#4).They popped through the soil ok,but its been almost 2 weeks now,and only 2 of the 8 I have, have 4-6 leaves, the other 6 seem to have stopped growing after the first set of true leaves came out,and are only 1 inch high. They look a healthy green color, but seem to have not grown at all for a week now.Is this normal?

yes its normal. It sounds like slow growers to me.all plants are different your just use to fast growers because when you cut clones you take them from the fastest growing plants normally.so have patience because thats wat this hobby is all about.post some pics we would all like to see your plants.and good luck.hope this enhances your calm ;)

Have you checked the ph? What is your PPM? Some seeds have more vigor than others...they all develop at their own pace. The reason I ask about PPM is that maybe you overfed just a little and they are a bit stressed?
I would just make sure PH,PPM,Temps are good.....and then wait.....let them do they're thing....or not.
good luck

Thanks for the quick response!Your right,I always took cuttings from the strongest, healthiest plants, and I am used to quick growing clones!Like I said, this is my first time with seeds, and I just want to make sure everything is normal, and your comment definately "enhanced my calm"!LOL!

Thanks for the quick response! The ph is 6.5,and I haven't used any nutes yet, just water, will star using weak nute solution in a couple of days.

give them some food.....thats probably why they are'nt growing.....I start my seedlings on 100-150 ppm after they have their set of real, serated leafs.....but i germ. in rockwool, which I later transplant in my hydro sys. I would give them an ultra light feeding at a 1-1-1 ratio.
good luck.
