Things are getting to hot in my 2x2x4 tent i am really clueless when it comes to ventilation, I don’t have a carbon filter at the moment but i just switched my 600w amazon light to 1000w Kingleds and thing got toooo hot, i have 3 fans inside the tent but nothing pulling air out or pulling air inside the tent and atm i could only get my hands on one 6” exhaust fan. Is it better to use it to pull air in or outside the grow tent?

2x2x4 tent with 3 plants vegging under 1000w kingleds full spectrum, 2 clip on fans and one medium size honeywell fan circulating air all around, no carbonfilter and not intending on installing one anytime soon.

Personally, I would pull hot air out of the top of the tent. Opening one of your bottom vents will allow cooler air to be drawn through.

Ideally you want fresh air in and exhaust excess out. But for now run your exhaust out.
Does your hood have an air cool hook up to run ducting in and out? Or is it wing type?
For that small space , if you plan on running a 1000w, you may want to have an air cooled hood and at least have fresh air intake in aswell!

First your lights probably 185w total not 1000w if its the one im thinking it is, 1000w is just false advertising to hook newbies. So take your exhaust fan and hook it up to the top exit tube. Then take 2 of your circulating fans and stick them on the other end of tent blowing at same height as light and blow the hot air towards the exhaust fan. Open up your lower intake holes to where you have 2x more intake size wise then exhaust. Also take into account the ambient temperature of the room the tents in because that is your lung room.

What was your 600w light you replaced with the blurple kingsled?

With no ventilation, I believe all ur doing is moving around the warm air in ur tent. Fans dont cool air, it just moves it around.
I made a very small hole in the bottom of my tent with a fan in front of it, covered by a $2 ac air filter from home depot that i cut to size
