Can you please take a look at my journal and look at the pics I just posted. Click my sig link and that will take you to my journal. My plants have become very droopy and the roots are turning brown. Please help!!!

Thanks!!!!

I read your whole journal . In the beginning it seemed you had unstable ph. Yet as time went by it seemed to stop swinging wildly. What is your water/nute schedule? Droopy plants can be from many different things. I would not think it is light because you are sporting the 1000 watter. Sounds like you have enough air flow going as well. Which in my opinion narrows it down to a over or under water situation. The brown roots could be the start of root rot. How is your drainage? I am just trying to help you narrow down the "Could be's"

Thank so much for taking the time to read the whole journal. Figured it would be easier to direct people over there to get all the info then to try and post everything here...

I was feeding them 3 times a day for 30 mins each time. They have seemed to be ok on that schedule. Idk... I did a res change on Monday and went up to 1/2 nute strength and Wednesday they started looking droopy. Today I pulled the pots out and brown roots. I did have a problem with drainage last week... I checked on the plants and noticed the water did not drain well. I found the problem right away and emptied the pots. The plants then looked a little droopy but then perked back up. Now really droopy and are not perking back up and not the brown roots are really worrying me... Other then that one time though my drainage is good.

THANKS!!!

In my opinion and I know everyone's is different.... 30 minutes is pushing to long. If they were mine I would switch to more floods a day at a less amount of time. Specially with that size of plant.
