Im worried my plant has a problem with brown spots on the leaf. DWC setup 5 gallon bucket. Flora Series Trio Nutes and Sensi Cal Mag Extra. Using Distilled water. PH is set at 5.7 but it does fluctuate usually every day. Every day it creeps up to 6.1 so I add a little ph down to get it to 5.7. Distilled water has no buffer so it’s expected. I’m working on getting a nice EC meter. I already have the new Blue Lab PH pen. Don’t mind the towel around the bucket. It’s to keep light out. I’m on week 2 to of the schedule I posted

That feed chart seems to be about spot on. You should be fine. Maybe your cal mag isn't as good as GH cal mag, not sure. It looks like a slight cal deficiency to me. I get that once in a while early in veg on a lower leaf or two and don't really stress over it. If it was on several leaves I would start to worry.

I wouldn't worry about those leaves. If you plan to do any training such as manifolding or pruning, you're going to take off those branches and leaves. When the plant is in late veg or flower, those bottom leaves will barely get any light. Don't worry about it. The newer pair of leaves look healthy. The plant is growing fine imo.

I also have another question. How low should the net pot be into the water. Right now it’s set about 2 1/2 - 3 inches under the water.
