Need help leveling my plant heights! Clone the top?

Hey all! This is my first grow and I've got 9 plants(Texada Timewarp 70/30% Sativa/Indica) in a 3x3 flood and drain table. 2 are growing taller than the others, and 2 are quite short.

The one in the back corner of the table is the tallest of them all, and isn't filling out like the rest. So I think I need to top/fim it so it is level with the others. But since these are going to be moms(regular seeds tho so I don't know how many girls yet) for my outdoor this summer, is there a way I can top/fim it and use that as a clone?

You could top them, shoulda donna it sooner tho...

Yeah, you could still top them and use the top as a clone, woulda been better if you had done it already though.

Really? But they're still so young and small, like under a foot....when is it best to top them?

there isnt that much of a difference in the canopy that i can see.
i top mine at the solid 5th node. i wanna say thats around 8 inches but strains vary in size and node lengths etc.
i wouldnt sweat the size and just finish them out the way they are. in one grow i was doing i had some f2's that i clipped the tops off and they never budded as big as their counter parts. they suffered because of it. you could always try and gently train or tie the tops over. ive done this with bread ties .good luck
