I'm planning on setting up a new 10 x 10 x 6.5 grow tent. Planning on running autoflowers in soil in 5 gallon pots.

Can someone tell me how many plants I can grow I. this space and how much light I'm going to need? I plan on running leds.

Thank you in advance.

It depends, you could grow 1000 small plants or like 25 huge plants! It just all depends on what you wanna do

They are autoflowers that should reach 2 ft in 2 Months so medium small plants? Planning on veg and flower in the same tent.

You will need at least 30Watts of light per square foot. They are auto flower. so they dont really have a veg/flower... run 4 plants in a 4x4 area max

I found 5 gallons is overkill for autos. I rarely do autos but when I do, I found 3 gallons to be enough.

With autos you can get away with a liittle bit less since your lights are on at least 50% longer per day. 20w should be sufficient. If you over light autos they may stay small and not stretch out.

Cant say for sure cause ive only done autos outdoors but they seem to benefit from a targeted spectrum. Doesnt mean go buy blurple though but a nice enhanced spectrum would probably do well.

With autos its a mixed bag, some of them are shorter and faster and some take longer but gget bigger and yieldier. Since you got a big space id suggest having a raised sectiion for the smaller ones.

Id start lighting just a section of that space if this is a learning experience. If you feel it will be complicated keeping the space heated to 81F during winter time you could get a mix led and CMH. In my knowledge CMH is the easiest light to grow under. It also means you can change Up spectrum with bulb changes.

As for the led lights it depends on your budget.
I allways suggest diy: its quite easy nowadays, makes leds affordable and designed to your needs, but mainly its incredibly satisfying growing your own weed with your lights and beating your own records.

Right now for lighting I in my 2"x4" I'm running 4 of these.

In the 10"x10" I'm thinking about using 2 of these.

Not sure if it would be an overkill.

It will not cover a 10x10, thats for sure. Those lights are definitely modern but look a bit like Mars/spiderfarm quality. Not sure how good aftersales are. Can i ask you how you got to these lights? Looking around on Amazon is generally not the best idea. Whats your budget for how much area and how much would you consider get your hands dirty with DIY?
The original light that these guys try to copy is Horticulture lighting group/ HLG, they have a sponsored thread here.

Also i which country area you??

Not exactly sure how I got to those lights lol budget for lighting is probably $2000. DIY is absolutely not an option. Lol I need to make sure I dont burn down my location. Not going to disclose country, just seems safer. But English is not my mother language.
