Really want it to open from the front as it'll be put close to a wall and i don't want to have to pull it out to work in it

Thinking about using gas struts and having it open upwards instead now

ok my flowering space is 3 foot high x 1 foot 10 inches wide and im wondering what everyone recommends plants wise. im tossing between two plants side by side under thier own seperate scrog or one plant to take the whole space under a scrog

the light im looking at will either be a 250w HPS or a 90w LED UFO. still torn, and ive got about 1-2 weeks to decide!

I would go with one to get the best scrog and yield...make sure you can remove your scrog with ease, use some hooks to hold the screen. What are you using for lighting? ventilation?

Gas struts would work on the top but then you have to hang your lights on the side of the plant. Could work i guess. You could also cut a square door in the side near the bottom and screw a couple hinges on it to make a door. Just slide a box next to it and it would be hidden. The hole could be just the size to fit the growing container into it.
Oooor what id do is make it so the second drawer can slide out and the top and bottom ones are glued on...super stealth. Youd have to vent it also so you could put low risers on it and vent through the bottom w air in and out the top back air out. Whatever you do just make sure that you have it all set up before the plants go in there cause itll be a pain if you have to modify it mid run for ventilation or somthing.
id also just go with one plant. Two is twice the work for somthing that you can do with one. Watts = weight. its not how many plants you have = weight. Besides youll get bigger budz with one plant. Who doesnt want big buds?

your going to get alot of heat with an hps. Id normally always say hps but im sayin led on this one. Yu might be able to just have a fan or two in there instead of an inline set up. My expirience with leds is that they grow short stout plants, so good for you. Domt buy a piece of crap led either, make sure it has a good warrenty. Pay more for the one with the better warrenty.

thats true about the one plant, well then it kind of defeats the purpose of having a mother and clone area wont it?
if i only have one plant is it really needed?

this is my current design idea, any way i could improve it? i wanted to try and do a perpetual grow so i can constantly have it coming in :/ maybe my working space is just to small huh

Yep or find a way to get like 12 cfls in their and ventilation your gonna need two fans...i'd do intake at the bottom and your out fan at the top

You could try and do perpetual harvest if you had two plants woth staggered flower dates in the box but forget about all that other shit. If you want a clone chamber make it in wall mounted cabinet. With just a couple cfls or short floros. If you had a tall cabinet it would take a mother too. Floros hung vertically would do it. Your off to a good start though. At least you have a plan and i think your heads screwed on right. Good luck. PM me if you need a second opinion on NE thing.

Oh i just thought of something. If you did sog then you could work a better perpetual angle. Six plants in there in groups of two cycling through, know what im sayin Vern.

Thanks for the input guys, the light in planning on using is a 250w hps
I am thinking of getting rid of the useless stuff and just run two plants under scrog and that's it inside there
