A good way to go about it is to fertilize every other watering. Separating feedings with plain water helps to rinse away buildups and to make use of nutrients still in the substrate from the last feeding. You can't do it at half strength, though. With each fertilizer mix you use, you'll want to get an idea of how much of it your particular plants can handle. Give them larger and larger doses until the lowest and oldest leaves start to burn (pod leaves & single-bladed leaves). Then, make a note of the amount and the plant size and you know how much is too much for your plants at that size. They'll need more as they get bigger. Start at the full dose of 2TBS, followed by plain water. If there was no burning, try 2.5 or 3.

Don't worry too much about burning them. For one, it's actually a rare occurance for plant problems posted here to be caused by too much fertilizer. It's much more often too little of something. Secondly, you actually want to burn the lowest leaves during flowering. It tells you the plants are getting all the food they can use.

at that strength there should be no problem, fish has to decompose first before the bulk of the nutrients are released.
I'd go a little higher too BTW.
One problem with it is it's acidic so you may get a nutrient lockout with long term use.

alaska products are fairly easy going id say youll be fine. if you use lesser amounts then you can feed every watering or higher doses less often, i prefer the latter. either way youll need to find out what it can handle by gradually increasing the dosage.
