need help with food please respond!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have 6 three week old plants ,they are doing great iits just time to give theme food .Im growing in rockwool,I have some food Its called vigora the number are 24-8-16 ,Is this any good ,I heard it was way to strong for the babies but i hear everyone is using 1/2 doses.I just want to know if it is any good for the vegatation stage and if so how much should I use,,,Thank you

it is the three numbers (N-P-K) that you look at, yours are pretty strong. I would definately head the info you were givin' about using 1/2 strength nutes to avoid the possibility of burning the ladies. when you switch to flowering I would definately check out a line of nutes that doesn't have a high level of N as you are using. hope it helps bro. peace.

24-8-16 is way to strong!!! u want somthing like 10-4-4 or 8-4-4 and still use half doses...nutes on the left r to flower...but the ones on the right is like somthing u wanna use!

i would not put full faith in homedepot stuff. expecialy if your using hydro cause they dont sell stuff directly for that purpose, buy i may be wrong

No im sure the home depot stuff is not what I need,,I just did not want to end up with no food when I need it but I havent used it yet.Im pretty sure gnome grown allready pointed out that foxfarm to me ,,but Ive heard bad and good stuff about that!!!!!!!!!That foxfarm is pretty decent or what????????

I use Botanicare's line of Pure Blend Pro. I use grow during veg. 3/4 grow and 1/4 bloom during first week to 2 weeks of flowering. 5/8ths grow and 3/8ths bloom for 2-3 weeks(right now just changed res tonight) and then i progessively switch to all bloom by week 4. anyways i wouldnt use the stuff u have. is it in solid form or liquid? i would find the closest hydroponics store and go buy some nutes IMO.

what I have now comes in a powder form..But I have plenty of hydro spots in my city what should I get tomarow to just keep veging for a while?

i like botanicare's line of pure blend pro. all organic. holds ph very well. and its a complete nutrient u dont need anything else. just talk to the dude at the store. he will point you in the right direction.

most nutrients come in a three part formula (plus additives). usually in some form of base/micro, veg/grow, flower/bloom. you can use the same nutrients in different ratios through the whole grow.

Germination - 2 -3 weeks: NONE
3 weeks to whenever you start flowering: Veg/Grow heavy
From flowering to near harvest: Flower/Bloom heavy
last 1-2 weeks prior to harvest: flush with water or flush/rinse nutes (recommended)

you can visit nute manufacturers sites to get their feeding schedule - find a good simple one to start and you should be all set.

it works very well from my experience. In a 2 week res i might have to adjust the ph once or twice when i top off. check out some liquid karma and some sweet by botanicare. both very good products. also u could use Clearex like Email said as a flushing agent at the end of flowering to get rid of that nute taste(which is minimal with PPP even not flushing). add alot of sweet too and your buds taste like berries. im about to start pounding the sweet to my blueberries and strawberry coughs.

i was introduced to fox farm "big grow" by a friend that has had many beautiful grows!..worked fine for him and is working good for me!..ive never once heard anything bad about it:joint::mrgreen::peace:

but im growing hydro so does that change anything???
