need help with grow medium

I think peat moss and perlite is the best value. you will need separate nutrients though. cal/mag ph down and an all purpose such as jacks classic should be enough to get you through.

Gardner & Bloome organic soil is cheap and good just needs extra perlite for aeration. It usually costs half as much as the fox farm or roots organic and can be bought at nurseries.

I use fox farm ocean forest. It's always worked amazing. You don't need vegg nutes. pH is right on. Also you can use it right out of the bag(no muss). Yeah it costs 20$. If your worried about the cost maybe try the other.
What's the best grow medium mix. .

Whats some good nutrients to use thisy first indoors.. can you put a list up so I can see what all to add to the soil

You could do super soil if you want an easy add water only grow experience. Or make your own plant food spikes which requires less fertilizer. It depends on if you have time and space for composting your fertilizers for at least 30 days.

Nope, but cruise right over to the organics sub forum and pick any one of those stickies. seriously like anyone one them and you will find your list. cheers!

been using FFOF for 3 harvests now. LOVE IT. I add a bag of perlite and 1 cup of powdered dolomite lime to my soil mix. I don't use nutes until I flip at week 8. the soil lasts that long for my girls.

Right now I am using general organics. It's made by general hydroponics and seems to work good. Last grow I used Technaflora's Recipe for success kit. It has a little of everything for an entire grow. Even for cloning. I think I paid like 40$ for the whole kit (grow-bloom-boost-thrive alive b1 red and green- awesome blossom- magical- sugar daddy- root66- and rooteck cloning gel) Definitely good for the money.

Valleyboi wrote "what's the best soil mix?" That's like asking what's the best ice cream flavor. I like Coast of Maine Bumper Crop and Lobster compost. Tons of good food and a relatively low pH. And he asked, "can you put a list up so I can see what all to add to the soil ". Start with great soil because it is your best value, use of time, and delivers the best possible product. Peat is cheap but it has few nutrients. Start with a lot of great dirt and you don't need to sweat the ferts much.
