Need help with height control

Hey gang, I'm a new grower and i have 10 plants currently started. They are all seedlings roughly 1-3 inches in height with only their first set of leaves. As of now they are grown indoors only using sunlight as I have yet to get a light that was purchased due to some postal screw ups. I was wondering while I wait for my light to come in what can I do to control the seedlings height and promote more of a horizontal bushy growth than have the plants work on growing veritcally? Any help would be wonderful!

keep a 32w 6500k CFL 3-4 inches away from them with some air ventilation to reduce heat. could probably go for 2 weeks like that.

Besides keeping a light close to them there isn't much you can do for seedlings. If they were clones you could top them or something but seedlings need to grow unmanipulated for a little while (at least a few more weeks anyway).

you could use ancient Himalayan growing techniques that maximizes the resin production by putting a loosely woven basket over the plant it makes it turn green at the end of the season you cut off the basket and you are left with a light green brainlike plant that is dripping with resin
