need help with my grow setup that is going to operate in late 2008 when i come back?!

ok so i am planning on growing in my closet....i already have the box thati made my self with my grandpa.......since i am going to colombia in like 3 weeks i wont be able to grow any now so i am going to have to wait till i come back to start to grow....so i am planing ahead of time wat i will be needing in my grow box in my closet....my grow box is 51 inches tall....37 inches wide and 17 inches deep......so far i already got the grow box and one floresent reflector with one cool white tube and one soft white tube.......i want this grow to be in soil.....so far i got a couple of things i have in mind that i willl buy....

soils
1. fox farm ocean forset
2. fox farm light warrior

nuterients
1.foxfarm grow big (6-4-4)
2. fox farm tiger bloom (2-8-4)

reflecting light
1.mylar

lights: since my grow isent that big i think i am cool with a 250 watt hps

seeds: i have no idea which one ama use...so far i think ama get the low ryder #2....if anyone got anything else they can reccomend me


also i need something for the odor.....i need everyone to tell me everything else that i am missing including like pots and the sizez and ph meter and other small shit like that...plz tell me evrything ama need....

Great album Black Sabbath Paranoid!!!! Spent many hour stoned listening to that. Your box looks good. You can probly veg with the floresents. But to flower you will need hps or cfls. The first thing i would buy is a ph meter.
I had very slow growth till i started ph cheacking my water. Then I got some very good growth! Good luck. I'll give you any help I can.

yu can't grow pot with guns. the feds hate that shit. which is lame because gun ownership is a constitutional right. but let a grower pratice this right and they make it sound all evil. "big pot bust, gun found. news at 11."


anyways, you'll have plenty of time to read thru journals and find what will work best for you. me, i hate fox farms nutes. just because i don't know how to use them properly. or choose not to. :)

wat kind of fans...like big ones or wat......and yea my grandpa does this shit still and he is old as fuck...and fuck yea next time i go to colombia ama try to bring like 30 or 40 seeds with me but is that shit there is to tight and especially since i am from meddelin that shit is full of coke...but i dont no why everything there is with seeds ......y not just grow sinsemila style...they could get much bigger money..

you got 5 square feet in there. (depth X width)

I'd go with either a 400 or 600 watt HPS or even better = conversion ballast and bulbs

you can run either MH or HPS on the same ballast/hood setup.

no need for two ballasts..

600W HPS is the most efficient of all bulbs. you will get 50% more buds, tighter internodes, everything you want, with a 600 watter.

get a few good sized fans in there...


buy two 80mm fans, which fit snugly over 4" holes.

one at the top for exhaust (hot air at the top), and another one at the bottom for intake. (conveniently located beside an A/C duct would be ideal)

The fans are rated at 12V, 500mA, and shuffle about 35 cfm. This is a complete exchange in you box about every 60 seconds.

buy an unregulated 12V power supply for them and rigged them in parallel. The power supply can handle 1A, so this also is perfect. you could also upgrade to 100mm (4") fans.

plug it into you timer circuit, so the intake and exhaust fans will only go during the daylight hours/ or 24 hours...

also a $5.00 desk fan to keep the air circulating inside the grow box.

Looks good but if you are going to put a 600w HPS in there you are going to need a better fan like a dayton blower or can fan something that can move more air. With that little computer fan you will have major heat problems. They don't grow sensi bud in columbia for the same reason they don't do it in Jamaica. The plants are grown outdoors and seed is just thrown down and a lot of people grow so if one guy does not pull his males then even the guy in the next feild over that did pull his males will get seed because pollen is blown by the wind. Its kinda cool because the bud just keeps cross breeding making all kinds of different flavors to choose from. Just because it has seed does not mean its bad bud either. I've had some awesome sativa bud with seeds.

thanks...but ama see if i get a 600 watter cause that a lot of money to run i think...and also since we are kind of going shjort on money cause the prices are going up so ama see .......and i was thinking on getting a 4 inch inductor fan that goes up to 80 cfm and then get a 4 inch and 25 feet long ducting and i just cut it...is 80 cfm good and if not then wat other type of fan should i get

yea new growth...last summer wen i went i told my uncle that i smoked and shit so he took me to his wifes brother that he told me that also smokes....so we went to down town...and shit so i saw 2 people smoking a good ass coney blunt in front of everyone that was alking in front of them...so i look in front of me and i saw like 3 cops with those dogs and they were like buying food and shit....so w.e. i got there to my uncle and the guy reached to his socks and showed me some big ass joint...i asked him if he can get me any weed and he pulls off like a half ounce in a bagand he says here keep it ...am like wat the fuck are u for real and w,e. i took it home and smoked that shit..its called punto rojo and that shit is so smooth and soft..i liked it

5x5x5=125 cubic feet. So and 80 cfm fan should be good It will exhaust the entire box every two minutes.
