Ive started setting up my first grow box, the diameters for the box is 8 feet wide, 4.5 feet deep and 6.5feet height,

i am going to have 2 of these boxes one for vegetative and another one for flowering, then just a good closet for my mothers and clones,

so all i gotta do now is purchase my lightning gear, i already have my fans, filters ,thermometers and the whole stuff but now i need some advises on my lightning

i was thinkin about havin a big reflector for 4x200 watt envirolite blue spectrum bulbs in the vegetative room, and then a 2x 2bulb reflector with 4x200watt envirolite red spectrum(2 in each reflector ofcourse) + one 400-600 watt hps lamp to boost up the lumens i can get in the flowering room,

If anyone wanna give me an advise or think this little setup of mine will work just fine please reply and give me some hinters.:)

That's a pretty big area your trying to cover with just four bulbs. To be honest I'd cut your veg room down to 5 feet wide and hang up a T5 fixture with 48" bulbs in it. Hang a four foot 8 bulb system in there and you'll be covered. I'd also run one red bulb for every three blue one to provide a mixed spectrum. I run one red, two blue in my veg cab.

600w seems a little low for such a big flower area. To be honest, I think you're going to have a hard time covering such a big area with one bulb. Make the area smaller or run 2+ HPS bulbs.

definitely agree with this...your going to need more lighting or your going to need to shrink that box...more lighting the better
