Need help with setting up an automatic watering system

I have 10 plants in 7 gallon pots, using readygro by botanicare aeration formula.
I am hand watering out of my res once a day. about 4000ml @500ppm.

I'm wanting to install a auto drip system plugged into a recycle timer like a sentinel or something.
I was wondering if any of you could help me, I'm ready to flip these into bloom, and I want to get them good and set up before I do that.

here are some photos.. HELP! :wall:

You could have your res mix up and throw a pump in there that goes to a manifold and then run to Home Depot and get drippers I think they are rated at like 2 gal. Per hour so then you run that for 30 min and your good to go! Just set your pump up to a timer and that's it! Simple

Yep, no need to get complicated. ;)

A fountain pump on a timer in the reservoir with a manifold tube and some "spaghetti" tube feeding drippers will do the trick.
It's really easy to set up.. just run the manifold tube where you want it, pierce holes for the feeder tubes where you need them and Bob is your father's brother.

I used a similar setup in rockwook for a couple of years before I switched to NFT.
I used "Hoselock" fittings from my local garden centre.

Ok great thank you guys,
It sucks i had a "friend" come over and was going to show me the ropes for my first grow, he ended up telling me to go out and spend another $700 to buy all this new coco coir, when i was coming from sunshine #4 and, had me completely change my whole set up, then on the 3rd day, he said it wasn't worth his time, and bailed on me.

So I'm literally tripping out, hoping to finish these guys off.
I have a 55 gallon res as I stated, so I'm going to dump it and clean it, and throw blooming newts in. I just not sure how much I should use with coco coir? should I be applying full strength using advanced or should i scale it back a little?
I have a shit ton of newts also not sure which i should use for blooming.

I have:
Sensi bloom a&b
carboload
b52
rhinoskin
nirvana
bud factor x
sensisym
kushie kush (have 1 og kush plant in room)
bud igniter
Overdrive
bud candy
hammerhead
final phase
Great White
humbolt roots (humbolt)
snow storm (humbolt)
gravity (humbolt)
floralicious (botanicare)

So I'm well stocked, not sure if i should USE THEM ALL, or if some are the same as the other and I would be doubling up? I dont know, sorry to be such a noob! just wanting to make it thru this grow, and not kill any more, I lost 6 plants that were fully grown 4 ft tall, just sucks man..

Thank so much guys you are awesome!

Holy fucking shit!

That list scares me!

It amazes me how easy it is to con people into a shit ton if nutrients for growing MJ.

I use a 6-3-8 NPK base nute.
A root stimulator.
An enzyme product
A PK1314 booster
Some silica and Ca and Mg.

In total I use 8 different bottles but 2 of those are my base nutes.

Personally out of everything you've mentioned above I would use

SENSI bloom A and B
Rhino skin.
Hammerhead
And then look for a calmag supplement.

All the rest is just high priced crap pretty much.

I use 1/4" tube with no emitters and a pump. Takes 1 to 2 minutes to water. It looks like you have very small trays on the bottom of your pots. If you're doing coco you need to have about 10-20% runoff. Same for most soiless mediums. I think coco is great. I assume you raised the lights to take a picture, otherwise they may be too high. You also need some fans lower at the level of the tops to keep them moving around.

Thanks Jondamon, that helps!

@Kervork
I actually was told to raise them right before i flip them into bloom since they will be stressed? what level should i keep these 1000watts? theres not much heat coming off of them since its aircooled,
also the fans swivel should i just point them towards the tops, or should i totally take them off and lower them on the wall?

My room is frustrating me, because its like 85 degrees, I have a huge carbon filter, attached to a 10inch fan pushing air thru the hoods, then coming off the other end attached to an 8inch fan sucking air, and blowing out the side of the house thru a vent.
also have an AC constantly running on the other end of the room, exhausting thru the about 18 ft of ducting to the bathroom window.

any thoughts on streamlining thing a little more? I can post pictures when i get home if it helps..
thanks

Yes I already have my 55 gallon res with an 8 inch airstone hooked to a air pump.
Now I just need to set up the watering system.
Water pump recommended?
Then go to lowes or home deport and grab rest of the parts.
I should be good, just hoping to make It thru this grow.

the water pump is based on the amount of pressure u need for a uphill push

if u set the water tank up higher then the feeder then u do not need a pump at all grativy and air pressure will do the rest

how do u want to do this ......................u could get hose cap the end and take a nail make little hole hook up to tank and leave it open the whole time and dripping out

u could do a ball value system u hook it up same way but u turn goes on wait so long turn it the water pressure stops and what is left drains out of hose

u could get those soaker hose and then duct tap the parts that are not on the plant

Just saying - I use FFOF and Happy Frog and Mother Earth Bloom and Iguana Juice and Molasses - that's it - and my smoke is bomb; you don't NEED all the craziness; it just complicates a simple plant.
