Need help with sog

I'm looking to try out the sog method, I have not found any consistent answers on the web. What size would my babies be when turning lights to 12/12 they are around 2 inches in height as of now. I have 24 sites and 5400 watts but only using 2000 watts for veg. Please help, thank you !

Ya they are all fems, 17 widow and the rest atomic bomb. I'm really pressed for time, I only have about 12-13 weeks to finish this lol, something very unexpected come up. Like I said they are about two inches high, is it possible to flip my lights back in a weeks time?

I would flip the lights when their around 6 in, im growing the widow now, been in veg for 3 weeks under 600w its about 7 in,

Thanks scooby, I've never done sog but I know it's a much quicker way to go then scrog which I usually do. Thanks for the tip!! What do you normally get off your widow for a yield? I have 24 of them so I'm hoping for a ok amount. I'm running a ebb n flow with 5400 watts using sensi grow and bloom for nutrients an the over priced bud blood.

I get about an Oz per plant, i use to run 16 in a 4 x 4 tent with 600w, Fim'd them all and cut about a pound every time, By the way how big is yuhr room?

8 feet wide by 7 feet high and 23 feet long, I'm only using a 8x8 portion of it and heat is no issue or humidity, luckily I do ventilation by trade and have very good means of getting rid of heat. I also build my own cool tubes and use a bigger fan that reduces in size running into floor girls to heat living room kitchen.

This is actually mine and a buddies first hydro grow I've only done it outdoors but I managed to squeeze a few girls in a buddies system before I set my own up so I could get the grasp for it. We are having a problem with the house we are in and paid 4 months rent in advance but have had very bad luck, the meter for the house were at blew so we have been running a generator for 2 weeks until the power is fixed. So long story short we need to get what we have going done so we can find a new spot

Ya I've down a lot of reading over the last year and a half, I always try to stay a step ahead of things before I jump into it

Thats the approach i take also, yea that spot sounds a little unreliable, sounds like the right part of town to stay hidden tho,

From seed can take quite some time for plant to be mature enough to flower. Genetically it won't be ready until female sex organs show up! Good luck

Thanks for the tips, I ended up shutting the place down and have found a much more suitable place with an experienced grower to show me the ropes, shitty part is he wants a bit over half of what we get as a fee for me using his space

Ouch do you have other cost as well? Rent electricity? Or is everything including in the 50%?

These kind of arrangements have always ended badly in my experience. Good luck.
