Need Help With Strains

I've got a few strains I really want to try, and I wanted to ask for RIU's input. First and foremost, I want to know which of these strains are the easiest to grow for newbie grower. Then secondly I want as much yield and potency possible. Its just a personal grow for medical purposes, but I won't have too many plants or much space so I need to yield as much as possible with what I've got.

Out of what you've listed I can vouch for the Tahoe OG, I've found it very easy to grow too. I'm after Larry next myself. The Tahoe is so frosted with crystals check out my two in the pic's I've attached mate, but it's supposedly a low yeilder so I vegged them for 11 weeks from seed, topped & supercropped and mine look set to yeild very well. These are lookin to be pure too. The DeadHead OG I have is lookin great too and it hasn't got as much strech in flower to it as my Tahoes had though and has stayed much lower.

Those look great, man. Looks like its gonna be some killer smoke.

I don't have time to be vegging for 11 weeks though. And I would rather not try topping or supercropping on my first grow.

would you say the yield is too low if i vegged for like 4 weeks and didn't top or supercrop them?

Thanx and I'd say so mate, topping/LST/supercroppin is a must to boost yeild on any plant, there really is nothing to it mate but if your goin for a single cola & 4 week veg Tahoe may be too low a yeilder for you IMO. The DeadHead OG I have I only vegged for 5 weeks and I only topped once stayed much shorter and is gonna yeild nicely stinks like hell too I love it and easy to grow too. I've heard Reserva Sour Kush is pretty good esp for a first grow the description given sounds pretty good easy to grow too.

oh shit that looks fuckin dank...is that your tahoe or deadhead...yeah my deadhead male even stinks like a female plant...very pleasantly sweet perfume smell. did not even know the smell was coming from a plant which is the deadhead

Thanx little flavio, post #2 is my Tahoe's and post #4 is my DeadHead. I can't wait to smoke on this Bud mate.

If anyone has any experience growing or smoking any of these let me know. Also if you think one of the others from the original list are better suited for a new grower then I'd like to know that too.

The LA Confidential, the Tahoe and the Larry all sound like good ideas.

Take a look at DNA genetics Kandy Kush x Skunk. I really enjoyed it.

Word, well i definitely think I'm going to go with the LA Confidential.

Has anyone tried Cali Connection's Sour Diesel? Or TGA Subcool's Agent Orange?

Was looking for something similar... well my requirement was just a knock-out strain! and recently a fellow citizen of RUI pointed me in the direction of the Cali Connection, These guys are based on the West Coast so I thought I would try something Kush-y, so I went for the Corleone Kush, ordered 2 days ago so Ill keep you posted, Ive heard endless good reviews, so fingers crossed its a belter.
On an additional note I got some 'Jamacian Me Crazy' free from everyonedoesit, but haven't got a clue what that is, so any info you guys can offer is welcome, I have never even heard of it, but then again they do say ignorance is bliss

Out of what i read i grown L.A con and Next Gen romulan... First off next gens gear is LEGIT and the romulan smells like sweet lemon imo... but i didnt like La con from Dna. The taste reminded me of bubba without the knockout stone... I would go with greenhouse bubba again way b4 La con and i never promote GHS but the bubba is nice.

I really want to try bubba kush too, but I want the Pre-98 Bubba from Cali Connection instead of GHS Bubba Kush. I've heard good things about GHS Bubba but everyone also says its not the real thing.

I really wanted Next Gen Romulan but since I posted the original list it is now out of stock.

So as of right now I am trying to pick the top 2 from...

I guess I could go with 3 if I really can't decide. I've been trying to search all day and find out if these are easy to grow or not and so far have had no success.

I would stay away from DNA genetics, they are the same as Reserva Pravada. So if it were me I would go with Skywalker and Sour Diesel! Maybe the orange. I have had bad experiance with DNA strains. JMHO

I ordered some Sour Kush beans from them when Attitude had a special on them and the Cataract Kush. Well the Sour Kush had some problems growing it didn't want clone at all, and the leaves curled down on it. I know there are things that make leaves curl down but a few other growers on here that I know were having the same problem as I am. And the Cat Kush that was growing right next to it in the same conditions wasn't doing the same thing. So anyway I mailed DNA about the problem and was telling them that other growers and myself were having the same problem with their Sour Kush strain and I felt it was a little missleading on the website description. Well the guy from DNA called me narrow-minded and that they stand begind their genetics. And then went on to tell me that they only mail to Amsterdam and he offered me a replacement packet of beans as long as I lived in Amsterdam! LOL I wasn't hitting them up for free beans! But if you charge $100 for 6 beans then I woudl expect the plant to grow close to the picture of it, and resemble the fucking description.

My problem with them is that if you have problems with any of their beans and you don't live in Amsterdam you can pretty much go fuck yourself as far as they are concerned. Really bad coustomer service, so that is why I now have a problem with them. If they told me that they were sorry that me and others I knew had problems with their beans that would have been better! But to call me narrow minded and basicly go fuck myself...... Not too cool!

Funny thing is that I was going to order their OG Kush but not now! Fuck that! But it does look good in the picture, I may pick some up if I can find some for cheap but I will never but from RP or DNA again! I like Nirvana beans, you don't get the genetics that you do from attitude but you pay about 1/3 for the beans and ANY problem with your order or beans and Alice will bend over backwards to help you. I have seen people get free seeds and it was their fault the beans died! My other new favorite site is Sannies! He is a very experiance breeder and spends allot of time weeding out hermies by stressing plants out and disposing of plants that have a tendancy to hermie. Great breeder and all of his strains/beans are very strong! Check him out after this grow, his beans are also cheaper than most on Attitude and his coustomer service is awsome also.

Anyone know anywhere in Colorado where I might be able to get some Barneys Tangerine Dream seeds or clones. I find it hard to believe people in the U.S. have tangerine dream already since it has not been around long and won the 2011 cup.

Me too I couldnt get the Cali Connect "Larry OG Kush " so I opted for Reserva Privada OG Kush #18 I hope it grows well ..Now you harshed my mellow!

I listen to Stern all day long! LOL I have every show since 2006 stored on the computer. Please don't let me ruin your day bro, I am sure that OG Kush #18 is good. I just wasn't happy at all with my Sour Kush that I bought from them and their customer service sucks shit! I am no expert grower by any means but I sure as hell am not an idot that some jerkoff in Amsterdam can call narrow-minded! I know better than to grow one bean out and have problems and cry to the breeder. But when others on this site that know how to grow are having the same fucking problem I am I figured I would let the breeder know. No worries man I hope the OG turns out great!
