Ya, a few of em look a little over-watered but other than that good job! Especially if this was your first time, congrats, be a little more conservative with your watering and happy growin'

Thanks for the quick response, ya my first time from seed its Called Road Runner for THC Labratories in BC, Canada. Some look a little more yellow under my HPS bulb but I took 'em out for my cameras sake. Anyway, thanks again.

yeah they look good...i have the same problem as you with the one yellowing at the edges...i wanna say it's from potassium deficiency but i can't honestly say thats why, i'm still trying to fix the problem myself. mine started yellowing at the edges like that when i had a fan constantly on them, i've now switched to an oscillating fan. they look awesome tho especially for your first grow =)

You could be on to something with that whole fan thing cuz i don't have an oscillating fan and it seems that only the larger ones are yellowing, one on the edges and one thruoghout anyway maybe i'll only turn the fan on for half a day or i'll fiqured something else out. Also, I'm pretty sure my fertilizer has nutrients Mg and K (magnesium and potassium) so I'm pretty sure it wasn't getting any nutrients due to over water and just wants some oxygen at the roots.

BTW that walking leaf is hilarious, seriously I'm not sure why maybe it's the kid in me anyway thanks for the input.

P.S. I got a cool tube today and maybe If I give 'em more light (by putting it closer) they will recover faster, or maybe the lighting was the issue to begin with as the illness only affects certain plants... hmmmm

cronic, make sure the water ur using is room temp...i read somewhere K wont be taken in from a plant if the temp of the water is too cool...this might be the problem for me...i'm going to get a water heater to keep my water @ 75-80 degrees...since my room temp is 85-95 degrees...also let your water sit out for a couple of days min, so that the chlorine can evaporate....also one way to fix not having an oscillating fan is to put it on a timer...1 hr on 1 hr off...or watever u feel appropriate.

I doubt that you need to do this, and will probably have problems if you do. With a air temp that high, your water will be warm enough. Rez temps above 78F will cause pathogens to grow in your soup, and doom your plants.

potroast,

thanks for the input...i'll leave it as is...my soup sits outside of my grow room though where the temp of the room is 70-75ish...is that ok?

Hey, I am sorry i doubted you initially (so much info on the net hard to find the stuff that is really valuble) anyway I am beginning to think it is mag defficiency (yellowing turning to brown, and with some twisting or bending up, remeber its like thieir praying for it) ya so I believe the solution is to foliar feed with epsom salts, I just started like 2 seconds ago so I'll let ya know how it goes.

That's beautiful! That's a great temp for a rez. And you can do rez maintenance when the lights are off. Pretty nifty.

i'm not sure chronic...any news on the foiler feeding? is it working for you? i started foiler feeding with epson salts and h2o and it seems to be working...no more browning of the tips...though my babies are turning neon green that most likely due to a ph imbalance...i still haven't figured out a reliable way to measure the ph of soil yet...i think i said this before but i think my problem was mg lock out due to ph imbalance in the first place...let me know if u fix ur problem and how =)

They sell soil ph testers you know. I bought mine in a kit that tests NPK and PH in it's on compartment thingy. All you have to do is put a little soil in the compartment add some bottled water and the little green pill and presto you have a PH reading!! They work great and are like $13 at wallmart.
