Need some advice- plants are too big!

Hey guys, so I'm doing my first medical grow and I was planning on scrogging in my 4x8 room. I have a 4 bucket DWC set up growing NorthernSkunk. The Scrogg didn't work as I had topped and fimmed the plants so they got way to bug and bushy and grew past the screen in less than a week. My biggest mistake is I've waited too long to flower. I've been following a monster grower and was letting the girls just chill but now they are all too big to manage. I have 8ft ceilings but my lights are already as high as they can go and the girls just keep reaching.
I went in a week ago and lolipopped the crap out of the room but it doesn't cure my height issue, so I need to know if I would be better off basically topping each big stem buy cutting it in 1/2 or if I'd be better just super cropping it and break the stem and lay it over and let that heal.

Don't break the stems. bend them down and tuck them under the net or make a new net. These are my 8 foot plants scrogged grow pics 091.jpg grow pics 104.jpg

Thanks for all the replies guys. I went in and made sure both lights are as high as I could possibly get them, then supercropped the tallest stocks and flipped the room to 12/12. I've sat on it long enough in veg, it seems there's always another reason not to flip it so I'm just going for it. I wish I had room for a new net but do not at this time. Next go round I'll be setting the net up over seedlings...

You might have to tie the super cropped ones down because sometimes they try to grow back straight.

I would cut the plants in half and flower, you will get a very high yeild and it will not do the plants any harm, often do this my self

the plants could double there size in flower so you need to do somthing or its all going mess up

could hang the refectors vertcal on each sides of the plants and this will give you come great results

or pull all the shoots down, this will open the canopy up ( larger canopy and reduces the height )

If I were to cut them in half where would I make the cuts? Since I've already lollipoped the girls I wouldn't have many new shoots coming off the bottom half. I know they will grow like crazy now that I've flipped them into flower so my plan is to let them start to bud then I'm gonna really thin the fan leaves out and try to keep the rest tied down. Thanks again everyone for the input

Ok Guys I'm really stressing here, if double posting is not allowed I apologize. supercropping didn't work, I just have a bunch of monsters with snapped and cracked stems now, I went out and bought a bigger screen to try and scrog them down and it's just a mess. How would I go about cutting them down to a manageable size? The other serious issue I have is that after super cropping I flipped the switch to 12/12 so they have now had 2 days of that, if I were to cut them in 1/2 would I need to switch the lights back to veg for a bit? is that even possible without causing hermies?IMG_1440.JPGIMG_1440.JPG IMG_1440.JPG IMG_1440.JPG

U could use something like a bud miester which will stop them growing use it for first 2weeks of flowing. They will stop growing 2or3 days and help with flowing work very good

I don't believe I can track down that budmeister here in Canada, and I could take clones but I already have so much time into these plants I'm not just gonna trash them. I just need to know the best way to cut them back and if it will hurt to revert back to 18/6 or if it's even necessary if I cut them back.

All i can think of is building a net around where you want the plant to stop, with around 2ish inch squares holes and scrog. If your flipped just keep it under the screen for twoish weeks then let it grow through. Youd need wood, screws, and string. Don't reveg it or cut it back, just control the flowering and then undercut it. My 2 cents.

Is your air filter blocking your light from going higher? Hard to tell from the pic. If so, do whatever u gotta do to move it. Re route entire vent system if necessary. Either super crop or tie down all the tallest branches. I did the exact thing as you my first crop lol. Your plants look super healthy so they will prob DOUBLE in size. It would be a shame to lost all your tops to light/heat burn. You're doin good tho. Better than most newbies.

Edit: please do not use any chemicals designed for stunting growth and weird shit like that

Another thing i can tell you, from learning the hard way, is worst case scenario its better to let them grow around and above the light than grow into the light. Shitty either way but above the light at least you'll have trics

Thanks a bunch guys, I appreciate your input and opinions. By removing my air filter I may get another 8-10" in Height so I'll have to get a buddy to come help me lift that monster from the ceiling. I started to scrog this under a small screen which they quickly out grew. Last night I bought some trellis netting prior to my most recent post and attempted to scrog them back but it left a 6 inch mass of plant matter as the canopy. I really have no other good choice then to make the net work and maybe thin out a bit of the fan leaves to give everything some breathing room. Thanks again for everyone's thoughts.
