Im growing autos, they are 12 weeks old today, (my bad) the last few days I've noticed some yellowing on the whole plant, but especially at the bottoms. Also brown patches before the leaf drops off. Haven't changed anything apart from about 2 weeks ago when I purchased a dehumidifier as humidity was through the roof lights off. Any ideas? Dont want to fall face first at the final hurdle!!!20131019_120202.jpg20131019_120255.jpg

She's on her final leg...almost expected to yellow out as she finishes up...keep it watered and let her go

to try and fix it at this late date in the game is pointless and will do more harm than good...most likely. Just let her do her thing - you'll be golden.

I've been searching the net.....which as we know is sometimes more harm than good. I came across tobacco mosiac virus....is there a chance it could be this? The very bottom leaves have went albino & very dry & crispy. Are the leaves meant to have brown patches as they die?

No, there is hardly any chance it has something like TMV. What you have is the basic life cycle of a plant. It flowers in attempt to reproduce before the inevitable end and thus yellow leaves. A lot of people prefer to keep the leaves as green as possible up to harvest using more nitrogen in their flower cycle, but its not absolutely required. For instance, you could read from subcool's stickys in his forum about super soil that yellowing to him is completely natural and shouldn't be worried about at all but not everyone agrees. The truth is what works for you, but I definitely wouldn't freak out about it and you should read more about TMV and its actual rarity.

I'd like to add by the looks of the plants you have a ways to go with finishing them up...don't chop based solely on the calendar...they need to fill out and bulk up...g/l

nutrient deficiency ...those blotches are a P deficiency... which can be from either underfeeding, or could be a lockout issue, have you given you plant just water at any time during flowering?...what is your watering/feed schedule?...i usually feed/feed/than just water.

edit: P deficiency = phosphorus

Yeah, sounds spot on....to cut a LOOONG story short....i f****d up at the beginning, these are 7 week seeds (supposedly) but they werent even 2 inches tall at 4 weeks old. Pmsl....first grow & didnt realise I had bought 100% pure coco so hadn't fed them! So about a week and a half ago I thought id be done soon so stopped nutes. But obv its dragged on a bit so they didnt have nutes for 2 weeks prior to today... should I give a last dose? Ill post pics of my bud im 2moro, theyr almost there. Dont want to overun & miss a flush before chop chop??

The potassium deficiency - will it affect my buds in any way? I think I have a week maybe 2 max til harvest.
Will my plant survive another 2 weeks til my choppy time(max)

Thanks ;)

yes feed her ....since you haven't in almost 2 weeks!.... and you still have a couple weeks to go.
i only flush when she is ready to chop...usually final week.

I kinda thought the bottom pics (furthest on plant by visual) was readyish. Yeah, I have a 30x loupe, i can see a mix of clear/milky on that one, no amber. Should I wait til I see the first amber trichomes? Also, should all the pistils be shriveled?

Thanks for the rep+ :) happy happy!!!
