Need some suggestions????

So, I have a plant that Showed its sex about 3 days ago. Its 41 days old total and 13 days into flowering. I'm stuck with the drying and curing process. I understand the hanging the buds upside down process for about a week. Which i thought was all the drying it needed at first. Now i start looking into curing and and see people saying how its supposed to dry thebud evenly or something? But i want to know everyone's steps on drying and curing and for how long they do whatever it is. I just want to find something that i can do and works for me but end up with great smoke at the end. I will be getting a 2nd shift full time job by the time harvest comes. So i understand that while curing you have to have the buds in jars and open them up for fresh air to slowly dry them every so often. Well I would like to find a schedule with my job so i can still finish strong.

fist of all, your plants are 3 days in to flowering and 13 days in to 12/12 so count from 3 days ago when estimating how long you have been flowering and how long you might have left ..

about drying and curing, you want dry Bud`s to smoke, but if they dry to fast, they get crispy and taste harsh, so you dry em until they can go on a jar or similar to dry in a slow way to bring out the taste aso. of the Bud so to speak ..

depending on temperatures and humidity it will take all between 3 and 10 days, when they feel dry and the steam can snap, now you can actually smoke em but they will still have some moister in em and taste "green" after a week or two on jar`s they are ready, tho some let em go much longer, I find that hard :D but last Jar do mostly smell/taste the best, open the jars a few times a day for 5-20 minuts the fist week after that once a day is enough, some how one jar seems to be open the most :D

I trim em for fan leaf`s and give em a rough manicure right away after harvest, and give em a manicure more before they go in the jars (depend on how strong the smoke is) I use the sugar leaf`s and trim to make oil ..

Drying is a process that you can experiment with. But just like Slipon said, I only let mine dry for a maximum of 7-10 days. Ive seen some be ready in 5 though. The point is to let the cure dry the bud from the inside out, sometimes the wetness in the bud can be so great you may have to remove them from the jar and dry them again if you did not dry them long enough! But take care to not over-dry to, because it can make the smoke taste nasty!

yes Bluehillsmoker is right, if they after a day or two feel to wet, let the lit off or take em out and let em dry for a day more, to dry Bud can be fixed with a fresh Bud a Orange pill or potato in the jar for a few hours ..
