I am a medical patient who wants to grow their own on a smaller scale.

So i realized that my past 3x3 idea would be to conspicuous. I decided to go with a 2x4x5 grow tent that will fit inside of my closet.

Lighting:
400W HPS/MH cool tube with digital ballast

Nutrients:
Fox Farm Ocean Forest Soil(in 3 gallon bags)
Fox Farm Grow Big, Tiger Bloom, Big Bloom

Ventilation:
Outside----a carbon filter--->light---->inline fan(440cfm)---->Outside

I am planing on growing 3 or 4 plants.

Does everything sound right?
Is that light going to produce well?
Any tips or suggestions?
Thank You so much guys

That 400w will be just fine in a smaller tent like that.. Just make sure to get the males out asap! And NEVER break the numberone rule.. No one needs to know your business.. You should lemme know how that foxfarm does. I have some but the bag is unopened so i used the miracle grow because i wanna use the fox for the transplant.. I just started and built the grow yesterday.. Let me know if you want a link.. But i cant wait to see your grow progress and you should deff post some pics!

Yeah everything looks great. I'm running almost the same exact set up except in a cabinet rather than a tent. And I agree with HinduWiff, i'd love to see some pictures and a journal.

good luck!

Do you guys think I should try LST or SCROG with this setup? I was thinking of trying it on a couple of the plants but then realized this defeats the purpouse of the even canopy LST creates. Any suggestions are welcome....My grow is slightly delayed because of finances...but the good news is that it is giving me alot of time to learn about growing and just more about this beautiful plant.
As always thanks for the responses and for reading.

fox farm is legit, but not organic.
Shoot your right it isnt, is Earth Juice a comparable brand if using fox farm soil?

Also I am reading alot about pests and mold, and I have been looking at hepa filters. My question is...is it advisable to get a HEPA for the intake?Or should I just worry about getting some grows under my belt?

There are so many fancy growing goodies...Its hard to stay the course.
