Need to know which to buy

I'm starting a 3 plant CFL closet grow and I have everything I need except the nutes. Reason being I know nothing about what exactly I need.
I'll be ordering from
http://www.hhydro.com/Plant-Fertilizer/

if anybody could point me in the direction of what I'll want for both veg and flowering nutes I could get this grow underway.

thanks in advance :joint:

edit: I should add that I'm on somewhat of a budget

For being on a budget the tecnaflora gives you everything you will need plus instructions on how to use it.

http://www.hhydro.com/B.C.-Technaflora-Recipe-for-Success-Starter-Pack.html

These two botainicare packs give you your base and additives. I suggest also buying their aquashield because liquid karma tends to darken roots but the aquashield will keep the roots nice and clean.

http://www.hhydro.com/Botanicare-Pure-Blend-Pro-Soil-Kit.html

http://www.hhydro.com/Botanicare-Supplements-Kit-8-oz.html

They both cost around the same money but if your just starting out the tecnaflora is very step by step and might be more of what your looking for.

I hope this helps.

I suggest the Flora Nova series from General Hydroponics.

1 part for each phase. Really simple, I used it when I first started growing in soil

Flora Nova Grow
Flora Nova Bloom
It was all I used for a couple years and was pleased with results and is budget friendly.

I was looking at the Flora Nova grow and bloom nutes, but just one question.. how long will a quart of each last me? If I've got 3 plants going at a time, will it get me through 2 separate grows? More? Thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated

I actually use flora nova for soil(but will be trying cutting edge solutions next)but i also run kool bloom, protek, and floralicious plus with it. It works good and for only three plants it will last for more than a few grows. But its only a base nutrient no additives but if you want simple and cheap its good. But personally if you wanna just run base nutrients run humoldt nutrients a & b. The guy that makes humboldt nutrients used to work with advanced nutrients and its basically the same thing as advanced nutrients connoisseur but for less. Also if you flush your plants with non sulfur molasses the last two weeks your buds will pack on resin and weight. That will help you save some money by not using additives but will give you better result than just using a base. I suggested the other two on top because they are the base and additives together for a really low price and are simple to use.

I would guess that a quart of each would last you about 20 grows or more.

I'm down with saving money too. Looks like I'm out of a job all of the sudden, so my grow room is on hold.

Any advice for a really, really small budget? :leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf:

Thanks for starting this thread man.

I'm willing to spend some money if it'll greatly improve my yield. obviously if I can get by with some cheap base nutes I'd like to. but if adding something with some additives will make me much happier in the long run, I'll shell out a little more cash. I just won't go overboard.
that being said, should I still purchase the flora nova?

Check out grows using Lucas formula. Many growers use Floranova Bloom as the only nutrients from start to finish with great success.

Yes, the Flora Nova Grow & Bloom are the way to go. In my opinion there is not enough Nitrogen in the bloom to use during the veg cycle.

I would use kool bloom and Floralicious plus also. Its like 25 bucks more and the Floralicious plus has all the vitamins and trace elments your plants need and the kool bloom is a flower booster. Use the molases when you flush and your bud will pack on resin get it at wal mart for like 3 bucks, the brand grandma's works really good.
