I was about to put out 8 bills or so on a polycarbonate greenhouse I intend to run year round! maybe not :/
actually I was just gonna do peppers and shit and maybe some other shit.
Without supplemental light, it takes months and months to grow a bowl of lettuce.
I also brought in some powdery mildew and aphids from my greenhouse and both got into my tent.

Oh, well.

I probably wouldn't be bringing anything from outdoors inside and would supplement light with LED more than likely BUT you've talked me out of it. I'll just dig a few holes and fill them with some decent soil and grow the peppers and stuff only in season, I'm just having a hard time finding a decent pepper in the off season. no greenhouse for me. I'll just devote a tent and a panel or two and grow my own indoors.

I think I brought in the powdery mildew on my person, then transferred it to my plants inside. With pruning, a dead air spot and temps in the 60s lights off...

lesson learned.

you could get a small greenhouse you put against your house to start plants early in the spring and prolong tomato/peppers in the fall.
