Hi all, what's the thinking on Neem Oil for prevention of mould and bug prevention. Any good? I got myself a couple of bottles of oil and wondered the best way to knock up a spray. Any help greatly appreciated.

Used it when I use to grow in soil. Was the only thing that would combat the bugs.
Sprayed middle of veg with 5ml per 1L mix in spray bottle.
Then again when switching to flower.

And would add to water every 2nd week at 1ml per L.

Once I switched to hydro never had bugs again.

Yeah I use it in my veg/mother room as a preventative. Spring through fall, I use it at around 1/2 strength, plants get a nice spray everywhere and undersides of leaves every 10-14 days. Nothing in flower gets sprayed with Neem. You should add in a little bit of coco wet (surfactant) or a drop of mild dish soap when you mix up a bottle of Neem

Also like to use diatomaceous earth sprinkled on top of the medium in my containers.

I've heard people say Neem doesn't work, but I've never had bugs or mold ever

I'll use neem lightly to knock down a gnat cloud or mist plant base but I dont like oils much. they kill everything and I count on large numbers of free range spiders to keep my garden clear of most pest outbreaks. Spider dont like neem oil, plants do I think. I never saw a marijuana pest that didnt die quickly when covered with ANY kind of oil, mineral, dlimonene, olive, canola, sesame, neem etc.
I dont know about mold or mites never had either in my awesome garden.

dont breathe neem or any other oil spray, and use some soap, like a drop of dr bronners peppermint soap or tween or the like to emulsify the oil in water.
