Nettle Tea

been using fermented Nettles, aka „nettle tea“ for a number of years for my veg.
Apart from the horrendous smell it works wonders.
Anyone out there using it in their „alternative gardening“? If so, how often and at what stage?

Any advice appreciated...

Are you talking about adding it to water and leaf compost, like the JADAM method? I'm about to get a big barrel so I can start this too.

I don’t know much about JADAM methods; it’s just that I’m using fermented nettles with comfrey for my pumpkins, leafy veg and beans (all plants that normally need feeding), and it works wonders...

It’s got NPK, so in theory it should work; I think I’m gonna try growing one plant with Nettle tea and one with organic Fertiliser, and see how they fare...

I let u know how I get on

I know of a really nice large patch of nettle not to far away, I was gonna cut a bunch down let it sun dry then try making teas with it for the plants. Also am gonna collect some of that really fertile soil and mix it with roots organic soil, lil experiment I guess.

They have enough nettle in bu’s Biodynamic compost so I get my nettle from there..nettle isn’t really needed for Cannabis growing. It can help but it’s definitely not necessary

About three years now and never have..but I know nettle is def good to have in the soil..i have been wanting to make a fermented dandelion tea as well ..greasemonkeyman ..i think..was who turned me onto those...I'm pretty sure..but whoever told me about them def had good things to say about them...might go out this morning and start the process on both..
