Never water coco with just ph balanced water ?

So I've heard this on this forum now said a few times . Is there a reason why I shouldn't just for once or twice water my plants with just ph balanced water with no nutrition? I'm doing it because I feel like some of the leaves have some nutrient burn and maybe giving them plain water for one feed or 2 might help flush the extra nutrients out of the soil? Bad theory ?

I never just water. Once daily I feed my plants

I do straight water once in awhile, one day I ran out of food and had to water and noticed a boost from straight water so about once a week or 2 I do it now, running straight coco. Been in coco for about 8yrs

Usually same . But in this scenario , can a couple water only feeds be alright ?

Regularly i dont either . But given this circumstance maybe it'll help ?

If they are overfed reduce the concentration but little reason to go straight to 0 nutrients.

1/4 strength nutes maybe, but never herd of plain ph'd water, allways nutrient solution
