What is Bird’s Nest Soup?
Bird’s Nest Soup, also known as Bird’s Saliva Soup, is one of the most famous but also most controversial delicacies in Chinese cuisine. Most would call them a "Fish Taco" - I don't because I'm partly of Hispanic heritage.
To me a taco will always be crunchy made with real corn Masa and not that nasty wheat stuff that's unhealthy and far too rampant!
I'd forgotten about this thread but after a bite - I thought I might post a pic of the results from my wife and I in the kitchen.
HAND harvested Great Lakes Walleye (AKA - "Lake Michigan Chicken") was the main attraction and the wraps were loaded with avocado, tomato, green beans and such.
Full of flavor!
Probably around 3 AM in December, ready for processing after whackin' and stackin'...
I might not be as handy with a blade as some, but good enough for the fang tooth critters... lol
She brought two of them - I couldn't finish the second one but it tasted like chicken... I swear!
Jus' like chicken!
Even in the cold black dark of night it's still very good to have some great friends to share the experience and food with!
It's no nest of mystery soup but it was delicious, nutritious and TASTY - we fish for fun, relaxation, stress relief and good eats!

Never fret another Sunday afternoon again!

I once heard "good management meets BETTER execution" right before the guy walked out after refusing the useless exit interview, but not before he said "you wouldn't listen to me when I worked here - what makes me think you'll listen to me now?Yep no more Sunday/Monday dreads!
Friday happiness was not as prevalent as I worked a lot of weekends the last few years.
Been down that road before too and I'm sooooooooooooooooooooo over it!
