new and looking to learn

this is my first post and my first grow however im fairly familiar with it and i would like to think im becoming a coneseur but anyway to the point i have a couple week old babie from a seed a was given by a friend from his outdoor lastyear from a plant that went hermaphrodite on him and it seems to be coming ok and i recently purchased a hindu kush seed from a locall ditributor nd began germinatin it today i was just wondering if there are any tips or tricks anyone would be willint to pass on.. thanks

Welcome, but I wouldn't waste your time and energy on growing the seed that came from the hermaphrodite plant. It also will probably be a hermaphrodite.
