Hey everyone,
My buddy is new at growing in soil. He's successfully grown two crops using hydroponic techniques. He's trying soil for his third grow.
He is using Fox Farm Ocean Forest and adding some Perlite to help with drainage. He has Advanced Nutrients 3-part (Grow, Micro, Bloom) left over from his hydro grow and is under the impression he can use it in soil as well.
However, he is unclear how the dosage works. Can he fill up a gallon jug with water and add however many mL it says to use of the nutes per gallon and water with that as needed? He thinks the nutes won't dilute right if he does it that way.
Also, another dumb question. How much should he water? Should the soil always be wet or dry? He thinks more dry is better but isn't sure.
