New breeder

Hey there rollitup family! I've been wanting to get into breeding; nothing for release, but rather to just play around a bit and see what I come up with. However, due to spacial issues, I really haven't had the opportunity...until now.

So here's the situation. I'm running 4 plants in DWC and all were assumed to be feminized seeds. Well, due to operator error, I had a pH issue with my White Runtz a couple/few weeks prior to flipping. It bounced back really nicely, but I'm 2 1/2 weeks into flower and all signs are pointing to it being male. I did a little research and found out that under stress, feminized seeds can turn out to be male. It really sucks because after the "bounce back" it turned out to be a gorgeous plant.

Here's my question. If I decide to let the White Runtz continue to flower and eventually pollinate the remaining 3 females, how volatile would the offspring be?? Would I run into herm issues?? Or is it kind of a "wait and hunt" type of deal??

Any insight, would be greatly appreciated!

Never had a true fem seed turn male on me.. and for sure not by ph swings.. im not saying its impossible.. just never happend to me.. somebody (breeder)was probably cutting corners in their female selection and stressing trials before reversing..

Definitely the former. I want to get to the point, where I can blow my friends' minds with something that I created. Ever since I started growing, that's been my goal, but I've never had the opportunity to give it a real go because due to spacial issues, I've always ran fems

Neither have I and I've ran A LOT of fems. I actually had to double check to make sure I didn't pick a regular pack out of my vault to run.

I actually got into breeding using fem seeds.. i picked the best fem plant and crossed it with a sour diesel male. Then back crossed the best crosses to the origanal mom until there was little variations .. i still running through my bx3' and bx4's 6 and ahalf years later..lol.. i would of been further along by now but was running other strain crosses for two seasons. I havent done any indoor grows the last two years either.. that slowed me why down..

Yeah with where I'm located, I'm relegated to the discretion that comes with indoor growing, so I can only do 4 each run. Sour D is one of my all time favorite strains. When people claim to have it where I'm at, I get excited and then disappointed when I realize it's not the real deal.
