New build with some questions

Hello all

Finally decided to buy a tent and build a light for some indoor growing. These questions are regarding the light. I built a 3 cob led light with 1 cob (middle) being a chilled v3 puck and the 2 outside cobs being vero 29 se ‘d’s 3000k 80cri. All on 140mm heat sinks. This was wired in series on a 1.75mA driver with dimming capabilities. This will be used to light a 2x2.5 tent running various autoflower strains. So my questions are:
Any overall opinions on the light from more experienced growers/light builders regarding combination of components? Was this spec’d out properly or would anyone have done anything different? The light is dimmable so im able to run at lower intensities considering the tent size and light wattage but wanted some overhead room to expand if things go properly.
My next question. Regarding spectrum, would adding some royal blue help during veg? Curious about opinions on this.

I built the light this past weekend and have been running it for hours at a time while at work to test heat production at heat sinks at various intensities. I keep forgetting the digital thermometer from work but the ‘hand test’ has me thinking anything above 75% or so will require some active cooling. The heat sinks remain fairly cool otherwise.

Anyway, thanks for the first post. Looking forward to sticking around

Sounds like a nice setup. 3k is prefect for veg and doesn't need any blue supplement. I run 4 Vero 29 cobs on those heat sinks at 2.1 amps. They get warm but keep my tent at about 84f at canopy which is just fine.

You will probably need to keep the lights 10"+ above canopy if your planning on running full intensity. just make sure you watch how plants respond to the intensity.

Thanks for the response. I noticed some typos in my original post so let me clarify. The vero’s I used are vero ‘b’s model BXRC-35E10KO-B-73-SE. 50.7 forward voltage. Also 3500k not 3000k. Wow so many typos what a great first post haha.

Is there ever a situation where ‘too much’ or ‘extra’ blue is a bad thing during veg even when all other light spectrum parameters are covered?
