New Cfl Grow Setup!! Comments

Oh i dont mist my plants yet, i heard i should wait for later when they are older. i could be lacking some nutes. the cfl's are cool white, i have 2 6700k and one "full spectrum" 5500k. the 5500 k one looks like its doing the best on my plants. i will be adding 3 more as soon as i get some Y splitters, lowes has been out of them for like 3 weeks

Hey its 13 days into vegging... i moved my setup into the closet for more stealth ness. my grow room is 26 inches wide and my closet opening was 23,, go figure what happened. any way now there is no noise from my fans and it is totally concealed... here are some pics... enjoy

Give it alittle more time and you will start to see actual growth from day to day. Looks good.

Looks WAAAYYY bigger then mine and it's only a day younger then yours.. I'd be happy if mine looked that big.

cool thanks. they are really starting to go. a lot of new, lower branches are forming and my leaves stopped curling upward. turns out it was heat.. the room itself was cool but the area right under the lights was too hot.

ok so i put my plants under 12/12 on the 25. i want small plants and i want to test my luck. i put 3 40w cfl, 2 20 watt, and 1 13 watt. this is all i could fit.. my vanity holder says only 60watts per each hole, and i have three that are all split. so i have 40/20 40/20 40/13 watt lights.. for 1 or 2 plants ill post pics

That is enough light for just one or two plants. You will be surprised how well they will do. Good luck.

Looking great! Did you say you put them in 12/12 already? Mine plant is 14 days old and doesn't look nearly that good, but then again, you have much more light than I. I only have 2 CFLs. Hope you get some good bud from these babies!

thanks, yeah i just put them on 12/12. i know i could have vegged WAY longer and gotton much bigger buds but i might be moving soon and i want them harvested by then. i would like to see pics of your "girls" ha, you should get some more cfl's get some y splitters if you can fit them, they are really cheap.

I only have one plant right now and I may get a couple more CFLs, but not right now. It's only an experimental grow to see if it's possible to do it in a dorm room. LOL

cool dude they look pretty good for having been burnt twice. i hope its a female. if you are flowering, you need more cfl's SOON.

Yea the burns suck, but at least it recovered. I may go get a couple more CFLs tonight, but there's not much more room in there. I really hope it's a female too...

ok so i have been in flowering stage for six days but my plants have not shown any sign of sex yet. how long does it usually take for plants to show sex
