yeah vicoden or lortab are hydrocodone not oxycodone. you can get addicted to hydrocodone but it's not as strong as oxycodone.

So your opinion is the best oxycodone pill is a little 10 mg pill? You should have tried oxycontin! 80mg pills and 160 mg pills in canada!
How is your 10mg oxycodone/ 650 mg tylenol pill better than my 30mg oxycodone??? If i wanted the to get High mine doesn't have any tylenol in it so I could crush them and sniff them to get high, 503 are big pills full of tylenol that would burn the hell out of your nose if you tried that! so if mine are childs play your must have been infants play...

maybe you should go back to your own thread.... Yes this thread has gone on more about the pills but is still on topic for medical marijuana! Did you read the first few posts? it is about marijuana and doctors opinions/knowledge of marijuana. Some people have serious medical problems that just good ol marijuana wont touch!

Damm brother,it saddens me to see somebody with a list of heavy narcotics as long as yours,it saddens me because every last med you posted im on, or have been on , i know you need to be all fucked up physicaly to be prescribed that cocktail,you cant fake it to get those doses.

Ive been on the Dilaudid 4's but i cant take them,my system has problems with that med & i get all funky feeling with very little pain relief.

When i was in the burn unit @ Detroit Mercey i was on the patches,i hated those as they gave me the worst nightmares i ever had,more like night terrors,they worked ok on the pain though.

Right now break through pain is hard to get a handel on,my doc allways gives me choices since we have been together so long he knows my pain levels,he gave me a choice of going to a 4th 80 mg oxy or to try Methadone 10 mg's twice daily to level things off,im on the 2nd day with the Methadone right now so its real early to tell but so far it helps keep a more constant flow instead of the euphoric up & downs,im sleeping a full 8 or 9 hours too since the addition of the methadone & for me getting a full nights sleep without waking up in agony is something special.

I got another surgery to remove scar tissue comming up soon,hopefully its a success & i can get back to a reasonable pain free life without all the meds.

My pain doc couldnt understand what mj would do for me & he is cool as fuk,all he could see was the pain killing effects of what i was allready taking,if were all being as blunt as possible we all know that even the strongest smoke at 30% levels cant compare with a 7.5 mg vicoden for pk effects, so on that note the docs are right, to a degree.

For my wife & me, using mj isnt the ticket for pain but it does help balance the effects of the pk's & extend their working window,which translates with us taking less pk's,there is also a muscle relaxant effect with mj that cannot be replicated with synthetics just yet,we all need to point this out to our docs to help them learn how helpfull it can be without interfering with the prescribed meds.

I think the more common med mj becomes the more educated pain mgmnt docs will become.

Depends on the doctor I guess. There is no shortage of doctors that are nothing more than drug pushers

I hope everything goes PERFECT with your up coming surgery! I wouldn't really say I slept much while on those! The best part about the patches for me is it made it really easy to get off everything! I was able to taper off the patches and get used to not taking pills then go clean! I've had most of my intestines removed, and back and neck injuries. I've been pain med free for almost 2 years now and my starting dose is still at 30mg 6 times a day! Tolerance is still up there! Since I don't have most of my intestines the opioid pain meds also slow down the bowels I have left, actually helping me digest and absorb food! When I first had my intestines removed They had me on tincture of opium!!! That is some crazy stuff! the doctor wrote it to constipate me! Check it out! ( http://www.medicinenet.com/tincture_of_opium-oral_liquid/article.htm )The super high doses have also caused bowel obstructions though! I got very bad with the pills! almost junkie status! So losing my insurance was kinda good at the time!

Very true! You got the drug pushers and the ones that are so afraid of writing for pain meds because they don't want to get labeled a drug pusher!

OR THE DOCTOR GETS A GIFT FROM THESE STORE THAT PRODUCE MILLIONS IN MONEY i ounce did a marbal floor for this doctors clinic i was good friends with one of them the owner of the hospital was arab good people very good people i loved those guys u know i am all tatooed n well i am into detail so i have known them for years n one day they r trien to buy theese machines that r worth 7 million dollars for cancer patients to treeat their cancer, i also had a job at one of the doctors houses me and doctor dandella would chop it up meaning talk i had to work around the machin without moving it that was a bitch... he told me that coruption is everwere, he was the owners right hand man seven people came to influence doctor dandella they oferd him a new car oferd him money if they bought the radiation maching from these exclusive venders..... they owned four hospitals n let me tell u he walked around in clothing that made him look like a gardener after work he sead sometime its best that people dont know what u do for a living they will try to fuck u... hahahahaha... what im geting at is the pills perscribed i aslo did nursing wen i was younger i had to intern to this place i had to cut pills given to the doctor for samples they had boxes n boxes i had to cut n dispose of the pill cuz they were expired she told me ya these pill venders always trien to get in some how....... so wen u think of your doctor n your simptoms do some reserch just to make u think a lil just cuz they got a degree dosnt mean their perfect...... just a thougt

I am not sick but I am trying to get off alcohol and I have considered Xanax for stress but have read what it does and have avoided it.

Sorry for the people with broken bodies, I guess there is no way around heavy meds.

I have had some good talks and bad ones with docs,I find the problem is 50/50 unimformed/misinformed.

If I go my primary doc,I have a a list of meds I want/need and a list of what he is going to recomend and the reasons I don't want those,this works for us cuz I am in the medical profession and there is respect involved,and then there are times I'm wrong,don't know what I'm talking about and I get remined I am not a doctor,

I have seen the inside of a few sample closets, shit is nuts, drug reps buying lunches its out of control, it is now illegal for drug reps to give out those pens and note pads with drug names,

Hahaha prescription pens and pads make up most of my ladies office supplies! every pen that she gets from work is from a drug company pen! If they are illegal now there are still plenty around! The drug reps giving them free meds isn't always bad though! When I lost my insurance a few years ago my GI doctor kept me on my meds with the free sample packs he was getting from the reps! I would like to place a lot of blame on doctors but people should take the time to look into what they are taking the drugs for! When I found out I was sick I wanted to know everything I could! I wanted to know more than my doctor! If there is something that the doctor thinks of that I haven't heard of before I would STUDY the crap out of it before doing anything! Especially if it was something I was going to give my kid, the possibility of side effects that are worse than what is trying to be controlled doesn't really make me want to give it to my kid!
