Hey everyone, if you have a small indoor grow box like me and need a quick, very cheap way to eliminate smell I have taken a few ideas and put my own twist to it.
I took 2 cans of beans, cleaned them,and rigged them so they make a 90 degree angle. Then, taped a piece of metal screen at the top where the air will exit. Inside the can I put a few dryer sheets, one of which I folded up and has a very low amount of laundry detergent in it (my little twist). After that I mounted that on the side of my box near the top with a 120 mm computer for then exhaust. My whole room now smells fresh and odor free.
But before anyone tries this, make sure it won't make your box smell like laundry detergent, I have read a few forums that people have complained about purchasing bud tasting like it. Not sure if the plants will absorb the smell, but I'm not willing to take the chance. haha
If anyone has any info about plants absorbing the smell or cause for laundry detergent tasting ganj, please let me know ASAP so my plants or anyone elses doesn't turn out like that.
