New Grow Room Need Help Please

I have a closet in a empty bedroom in which i want to start growing. I would like to know light recommendations, how many plants i can do, and if the top shelf area would be good for my cloning.

In the pics you see the closet, 2'wide by 5' long by 6' high then there is the shelf and that space is the same but 3' high. I am going to line the closet with Mylar, including the shelf top and bottom as well as the inside of the folding doors, i am not worried about outside venting as its in a 10' by 10' bedroom and have the whole space. but want to grow in the closet and use the room for drying and curing! Any help would be appreciated, Best strain to get most yield, lights, etc. Ty all and i will keep checking in and will keep everyone posted with my success!

Yes i have, Just never in a Closet, i am gonna use 18 ince wall mounted fans, to harden them off through the cycle, i have always used Flourecents, i wanna learn HPS and Halide, i know the halide is Veg and Soidum is Flowering just wondering what plants would give best yield, and how many i can get in the closet, and what do you think of the top shelf as cloning space? and this is a Soil grow as well!

Put a vented 600w hps in a hood, in there and get rid of the clone shelf. Clones need so little light and room! I use 2 26w cfl above a dome and i can fit about 30 gals in there. Im running about 1000w hps per that given space, but on a mover and no closet to hinder venting. If you can put a 600-1000w in there and not close the door, youll have HUGE nugs and great penetration. If youre on a budget, go hps all the way after floros. I have all switchable ballast, but honestly, the 1 mh bulb I have is 2 yrs old and hasnt seen power but for 1 month. I honestly cant see any gains from switchingback and forth. Go as big with a single light as heat restrains will allow. With a good vented light, you can keep a 1000w about 7-12" above canopy (assuming youve air flow and a 74deg room temp). Id say you could grow 8 ladies in there with 1000w, maybe 6 with a 600w. Its all about height versus light. Dont worry about best yielding strains until you get your setup figured. I was getting an average of about 40gr per lady when flipped at 13" tall. I have lowe ceilings, so more plants and shorter is how I make use. With Higher cielings you could veg longer and get quite a bit more. Personally, I weigh the timing, the pentration, and the ammount of plants above the sipmle "best yielding, biggest lady" title. oh yeah leaving the door open is not a problem. its all open just a spare bedroom. i will get ride of the shelf, use a 1000 watt HPS and use a mover then i have 8ft of ceiling to work with. And thanks about the clones, i am figuring on flipping to flower around 18-20 inches what do you think? ty for your advice and any and all help would be usefull!

So you said 1 600 watt Hps light for my closet. There is one window in the room, so i wanna cover that with panda film as well so the whole room will be dark minus the closet.
