What's the point of risking a fire or you're ballast going out at the worst time. Compare the internal components

If you're pulling 10 oz then it would only make sense to me to reinvest some returns into your equipment.

Weekest link in the chain

My 2 cents you might see things different and that's cool

I reinvest in bulbs, hoods, seeds, and soil amendments. This ballast is no weaker than any other ballast in my experience. Lol. As soon as I'm settled in my new house and I've got my land tilled for food crops, I'm planning on running a three way test. You should follow it when I put it online bro. An Apollo, Solistek and either a Quantum or Galaxy all running at 600. They will each be in the same size tents, same bulbs, same hoods, same soil, same number of the same clones. I'm guessing early summer it should start. If one ballast yields significantly higher than my current ballasts, I'm replacing all of them with the champion.

Your test was already run 3 years ago by Monster Gardens however they chose 8 other ballast to test before the Apollo. Wonder why? Good luck but I won't be watching

Those cheap ones (except the one outlier whic was magnetic) perform way closer to the expensive ones than I thought they would

"The difference in PAR readings was not drastic across all the digital ballasts". Looks like as long as it's not magnetic, you're good to go.

You need way more space than 2x3 for 6 plants.

You were talking about growing 6ft plants. Those could easily take up a 3x3 space per plant

Probably 4 or 5.

You will have to keep them shorter (~3ft tall) to accomodate the 2' width.

Set some 5gal buckets in there with space for branches in between and you'll get a better idea

Your better off avoiding cheap Chinese eBay LEDs imo.

For 2x4 I'd do a 400w hps. You could also do T5, but you probably won't have as much light penetration. Neither of those will cause a huge jump in electricity usage. I know for me at least, the heating/cooling/dehumidifying of the room uses waaaay more electricity than lighting.
