New grower here need help.

i just started my grom i made myself a grow box out of a side dresser i have around 7 23w cfls daylight spectrums and one of the orange ones i started my grow in a closet bit felt there wasnt enough lighting or ventalation for that space so i made the dresser grow box im using bag seed they are about 2 1/2 months old they looks very small and some plant leaves burn on tips others have spots and others have yellow leaves the new growth seems fine at first but then tips start to burn my soilis miracle grow and some other cheap top soil i found at walmart i use tap water that has been left out for a day to water every 2-3 days i think the soil is the problem but cant be sure i know it isnt heat i thought it could have been a cold problem cause my room got pretty cold the last couple days i just turned my heat up any sudgestions or questions let me know ill try posting pics if necessary any help is appreciated.

2 1/2 months old!? I've never seen a 2 1/2 month old plant that small? At this rate yur gonna have to veg till next christmas and flower till 2016. I'd probably read up a bit on these forums, get your conditions under control and start anew. Just my 2 cents...

I don't mean to laugh, but I can't believe how small they are at 2.5 months old.

What are your temps/humidity at?

Na its str8 i laugh at them myself i just feel.bad to just kill them and the temp was hot before i made my grow box i figured they stood small because i had a big closet for an uncificient ammount of light plis very little ventelation now that i have the box made i have 2 intake fans and one out the temp dropped here where i live so it got pretty cool i thpght that was a problem so i turned my house heat on mow its well ventalated i have grown before using miracle grow and cfl's but this time they stood so small its hard to find good soil without any nutes in them where i live but my last grow went fine i just want to get some pointers on not letting them get like this again before i spend money on fixing something thats not the problem.

get soil with regular nutes, wait a 3- 4 weeks and then maybe intro nutes at 1/2 strength, then full after a few feedings. idk how they could be that small. try try again, and itll get better.


and it seems like your using nutes already and its not necessary.

They light i keep about 2-3 inches away and the soil i water every 2-3 days,,,, depends if its dry or not. I also used mollases, about 2tbs per gallon

For lights i have 7 23w cfls the temp is fine (now) and as for soil, where im from there arent many options cause indoor growing isnt that big here i think my mollases water went Bad and it messed them up im gonna get new soil and try again ill update this after germinating is done im also gonna work on more reflection for my lights as for nutes i have some chemical ones that i can disolve in the water i can give u guys more info on those when i go home, also i have mollases but the firat time i grew all i used was mollases and coffee grain for veg any opinions on that?

I been looking for it but there arent many places still selling soil.out here im going to home depot today
