new grower..need some help

Ok so I just got some seeds of an unknown strain from my friend about a week ago. I germinated it and planted it in a decent sized pot. Its been about a week and a white thing popped out of the dirt, this didnt look right. So being a retard, i dug it up and noticed that it was upside down, and the leaves were trying to grow in the dirt isntead of out Do you think that I can still salvage it if I flip it right side up. Also for future references, am I supposed to plant the seed with the white thing up or down?

If you are very gentle you should be able to flip it over and save it ......no guarantees.....and yes the little white thingy goes down...hope this helps...

the plant grows the rong way down to start with the root starts from the top and grows round and down then it flips up the leaves and it pops out.. leave it alone m8 touching the roots can kill the new seedling

aahh...too late, I just flipped it, I tried to be as gentle as possible. Well if it doesnt survive than ill probably just ask my friend for more seeds.

You did right he don,t know WTF he's talking about......the sprout is the root , why would it possibly need to grow up,over then down then flip the plant up out of the soil....it's assanign information like this that makes it so hard for new guy's to learn.........
