new grower seeking advice (photo included)

Good day peeps i'm new to indoor homegrowing, and thus new to the forum, I need a little advice here and there to make it through a successful 1st grow.my main concern is about wether or not i should avoind selecting the blazing fast seedlings as they might likely be males, you could skip all that take a look at the pic and tell me your opinion, or answer any of the questions asked down below,

I've done a lot of reading a lot , but i somehow always feels like i need to ask , since opinions and advice vary so much that you sorta realize that each grow is unique to a certain extent, however the end deduction from all those opinions (concerning germination, light, watering, pot sizes , etc ) is that taking their mean average should be the best bet !

let me break it for you,
---------------------------------
I had a bunch of seeds (unknown specie, but I think its Indica ) ----> germinated ---> obtained regular planting soil with a little pearlite as medium (see pictures) ---> placed in a 1 gallon dome shaped container (tupper ware) for seedling stage, ----> day 1-2 successful sprouting ---> day 5 they sprouted with 3 / 4 seedlings growing out really tall and 3 times faster than the rest . also roots started to reach and show at the bottom yesterday (see pictures).

end of timeline.
-----------------------------------

light condition : i choose the 24/0 cycle about 9h sunlight (through closed window on 50th floor) and the rest regular incandescent light bulb 40w. I'm currently in Istanbul Turkey then sun is getting stronger/longer everyday, and cant install growers light.

watering: them once daily, no soaking because soil layer isn't deep and no bottom drainage, just enough to keep's moist.

temperature : temp is always between 24c- 26c (77f) I assume it reaches 29/30c (89f) under the sun.

Humidity :I cannot control it, I bought a little vapor dispenser that shows only 22% ! i place the container slightly near its vapor ejection to get cooled down during the after noon

I am not putting large hopes, but would like to avoid the disappointment of a miscarriage ;) , the seedlings are looking really healthy and growing at a nice pace. however
MY ONLY COMPLICATION IS THAT I CAN ONLY TAKE 4 PLANTS FURTHER TO CONTINUE WITH due to lack of privacy !

here are my questions answer what you want and what u have experience with but all answer are well appreciated:

1- seedlings seem used to sun exposure, should i reduced it thought (feels a little violent),

2- is the off-sun lightning okay given the good sun light they are getting ?

3- should i pierce the dome ASAP for aeration ?

4 - when should i re-pot them ? I will only transplant once and the space only allows me 3 pots same as in this picture (the orange one )+ the seedling pot which I will be growing in one of the seedlings after toping it with more soil, and removing the others.

5- should i start giving them fertilizers after week 3 ?

6- the most debatable one : should I avoid transplanting the fastest ones? they might probably be males as i've extensively read

View attachment 2104064 the ones near the broken toothpicks grew much much faster in the first 2 days the rest just caught up with them in day 3/4

thanks a lot for reading this and thanks even more for your valued input !

You should've planted them seperately.
thanks for your replies guys, Kimish: I know i'm gonna transplant them tomorow I dont believe they are hurting each other yet, the roots are well seperated, besides I will be selecting only 4, the most space out ones, why do you think ?

what's you opinion about the tendency of males growing blazing fast ? i know its no precise engineering but experience must tell something about it .

get them all in seperate pots/plastic party cups NOT SEE THROUGH ONES use white ones, coz all them roots of diffrent planst will choke each other

Do what others have suggested and transplant them. When growing lots of plants, like 4x as many as you expect to harvest, you shouldn't have any problem thinning out 1/2 of them. Males may be generally faster growers but you will get some vigorous females too if your genetics aren't crappy.

U cant tell from seedlings growth as to if it is male or female...although it may be true to SOME extent, u really just need to veg them out for at least 8 weeks, when your male and female preflowers should begin to show, if u have a good light, because u will never reach that stage with an incandescant, and it is then that u decide which r males to take out, and which r females to switch into flowering... That is how I do it. I don't use clones much either... Unless it's a strain I don't have any more seeds for and wish to breed it into a male of another strain I do have seeds for, I grow from seed for the hybrid vigor, and larger plants, and expectedly larger yields... Plus, I enjoy seeing different phenos come out with seed use... Which helps me in my breeding process sometimes...

Tragic420: no probs man i'm here for personal opinions, incandescent no good got it, but what about the fact that they'll be getting a solid 10 hours of direct sunshine daily ? I mean thats gotta count for something right ?

how about putting them under a 540w halogenic tube bulb (once sun is down )? of course i'm keeping distance so the seedlings dont get too hot,

update ! its been 18 hours since I transplanted them and they didn't show any any negative signs so I assume it was successful !

Halogen lamps r not the correct spectrum. How about trying ANYHTING besides incandescants, or halogens...like CFL's, LED's, MH's, HPS's, or DUEL-ARC's??????? NOONE uses incend's or halogens for numerous reasons... Id say just keep it outside if thats the best light u can offer them...

the transplant was successful, its been 21 hours since and the seedlings have actually grown in size since, i had two plants placed in each pot just to maximize success rate in case it wasnt 100% (advice from thread) on the first pic you can see the 500w halogen light which i'm not counting on really (its an extra source i use once its sundown) . on top of the plant its a vapor dispenser which raises humidity (it really low in my apartment) it also cools down the the plants from the halogen bulb light .

so you are using the halogen..........ya know what..........i would add a couple of halogens, and water with sea water too. people are giving you good advice and you are not heeding it. you are not going to have successful grows

im finally gonna grab gonna grab 3 cfl of this kind andfind a way to hang them above the plant, would you reckon this is a good kind of bulbs ? ill be using 3 of them , the more lumen the better right ?

View attachment 2109184

also would a mix of sunlight (when available) and the 4500 lumens I'll be getting from the cfl be beneficial ? or should i stick with the cfl 24/0 instead

Go with about 80w's of "daylight" spectrum for veggin'. You'll be good for about two months before you'll have to start adding more.

cool, I ended buying 3X 1620 lumens because Lm's is what matter in the end not the wattage of the light !!! will add 2 more by the time their bigger, or should i max it to 5 asap to lessen the legginess i'm seeing ?

anyone welcome to answer !

edit: to view pics in their original resolution I suggest to get a couple of T5 fluo's tubes.......otherwise you can open the pic in a new tab lol
