new here,grow room opinions

first offff, hi. im new here. im from socal.

im bout to start my second grow. my first one didnt work out due to a head/brain injury. but back to the grind.
i currently have a secret jardin pro dr120 i belive,the 4x4 tent. along with a lumatek 600w ballast with a radiant ac 6 incher and 2 6in vortex fans.

im ditching those for a new lumatek 1000 dial a watt ballast and a magnum xxxl hood with both ushio hilux hps and mh conv bulbs. im aslo thinking of upnnn the 4x4 to a SJ pro 5x5. i want to grow 20 plants using super croping and fimming ,all from seed. fem of course! barneys farm lsd
ill be cooling using my old vortex fan, 1 or 2? (i wont be using fan for intake) along with a fan speed control and a timer for the ballast. no co2,ill be drawing air from the outside via window and ducting with a filter to keep bugs/scent out. still thinking bout making or buying carbon filter,any ideas on what brand and model if i were to buy? some under 100 clams

what do you guys/gals think of my new idea? im open to opions

I use the hepa style scrubber from organic air they are expensive and they work. On the flipside you really only need smell control in late flowering imo and for those couple weeks especially with something that small I would recommend the $20 bottle of ona gel. Works great and it will have everything around it smelling like dryer sheets besides the weed of course. All you gotta do is crack it open and add a little water every now and then to keep the consistency there.

i might go with a 4x8 secret jarden and 2 1000 watters..will the ona gel still work.. the ona container goes inside the tent right?

I would put it outside since the outside is what matters.... Its just a big ass can of smell good that is very strong lol. And thats a good move the more the merrier.

Try Ebay just type in search for what u need i.e. Carbon filter

i just orderd a Phat 20x6 450 CFM Carbon Filter. thats more than enought if you ask me,its only a 4x4. after seeing a couple threads i noticed that you could get a full cannopy of greenof 9 plants,i could imagine what 12 will do.......?
