New member - Ripper Seeds Limited Edition Grow

First post on this forum, I started growing a couple of years ago so still pretty new in the growing community and still trying to learn from the pro's!

My first couple of grows were Autos under blurple lights in DWC, here is a Mephisto Sour Orange Livers i grew out.



I am now growing Photoperiod plants and have a couple of Ripper Seeds limited edition strains which are entering there last couple of weeks, I have a Purple Punch x Dosidos and an Animal Cookies x Dosidos my setup is as follows:

2x4x8 Gorilla grow tent
6inch Extraction and filter
Variac speed controller
2x exodus dwc buckets
40lpm air pump
2x 6 inch airstones in each bucket
Temp and humidity controllers
265W HLG V2 XL Quantum Board
HLG far red strip
2x 6 inch oscillating fans

I vegged these girls for 6 weeks before flipping to 12/12, have now been in flower for 7 weeks, buds are small especially on the Animal Cookies but there are a lot of bud sites so hopefully yield is still decent as the buds are super dense.

These buds are also the frostiest I have grown so far so hoping for some fire!

Welcome, and DAMN!! That's frosty.
Ripper don't disappoint do they, I remember a guy on youtube who grew their Zombie Kush and I've been wanting to try their stuff since.
They look pretty similar actually, how do they smell?

Thanks for looking, 1st time growing out Ripper Seeds and am really happy so far, wish I could have those nice full colas but I'm just growing for personal use so quality over quantity every time for me. The price of these seeds I think is also pretty good at 8 euros a seed as i see some breeders charging 250 bucks for 10 seeds for some of these crosses which is just insane!

Oh and smell wise, well I am not good at explaining smells lol but both are dank for sure! I am growing in an apartment so stealth is really important, I need to have Ona gel on hand for when I open the tent as otherwise I could get my door smashed in at 4am in the morning lol

Flowering for 7 weeks

Into the home stretch now, these will be coming down not this weekend but the weekend after I think.

I snagged a couple of the lower branches on the tent and snapped off a couple tops on the Purple Punch so these are now drying so I have a couple of tester buds.

Trichs are getting more cloudy but still alot of clear.

Just wish the Animal Cookies buds were a little bigger as trimming is not gonna be fun!
