new plant(Pics included)need some info

about 2 Weeks ago I put 2 newly sprouts into the nutes. One died because I think I put to much nutes in it. The other one had been doin good til about Sunday I started noticing some leaves turning yellow. I let it sit because I didn't want to rush it but now im noticing purplish brown spots on the tips and the leaves are kinda twisting. I dont wanna lose my 1st but I dont wanna get discourage to keep growing.ph. 5.5 - 6.3 (have cheap tester)Water temp. Fluctuate between 69 - 71 degreeRoom temp 72 highest 68 lowestWas growing under 400watt mh light because its veg.but it blew now its under 600watt hps18/6 I did leave the light on for 48hrs twice because I locked myself out my g.room (talk about security)

I don't think you need to worry about it, man. Try using just bottled water for one - two feeds to flush it out if you're worried. Some pics would be nice though, so I can be sure. I had the same problem with the purplish spots, but it turned out to be nothing serious.
