New Project

Thought i might try my hand at taking clones from a flowering plant. Have a strain I like and dont have any cuts. Basically do what I always do. Cut 45* at a node. Clone gel, powder, jiffy pellet. (Out of rapid rooters, might be the deciding factor lol) In a home made dome. On a heating pad with two low watt cfls. Ill prob run 20/4. Only thing i didnt do was cut the fan leaves in half. Trying to possibly get a mother so I only took 13 cuts. Hopefully one will take. Hope this is about right. Any thing I miss being a flowering clone that I wouldnt otherwis do?

Any reason why you waited until flowering .... Looks to me you sacrificed some colas.

I thought I had a mother of this strain but i didnt. I just did some lollipopping and thats where those came from. They wouldnt have done anything where they were at. Only take energy away from the tops. So last minute though was to clone them lol.

Ive heard the branching will be much better on a flowering clone but I have no personal ecperience on cloning when flowering. I have a plant going in one room that was revegged after last harvest. That one has 50+ tops doing nothing but tucking under the screen.

Ok been seven days about so far. Four dried up right away within a day or two. Im thinking i got air in the veins as i was cloning. Others here still look healthy. Not much yellowing yet which makes me think its too humid. I think ill remove the dome a little longer now.

Looks like two more are gonners. Three look like there rooting just havnt came through the pellet yet. Two sprouted roots everywhere and went into
Solo cups. Looks like ill get my mother after all
