hey guys, have browsed the site for years, just recently decided to jump in. Have grown for years but just recently moved into a new room. Little background is I have always ran hydro, ebb and flo flood tables in Rockwool cubes. Just recently flipped over to Pro Mix HP. General Hydroponics Flora series along with all the additives are what keeps the girls going. Rooms are as follows
Clone/ Early Veg Room: 4'x4'x6.5' I clone using good ol 1"X1"X1" Rockwool cubes in a Humidome. Old school but I have always had good luck with it and am stuck in my ways. This room is lit by 2 2'x2' 8 bulb t5 lights. From taking my cuts to them rooting is usually a week to a week and a half. After they root I then transplant the Rockwool into solo cups of ProMix HP where they spend 2 to 3 weeks still under the t5s. After about a week I transplant into 1 gallon pots and top the girls.
Veg Room: 8'x8'x6.5' walls are covered with reflective Mylar. currently running one 1000w Hortilux blue in a 42" parabolic hood and am cooling the room using air pulled from outside of the house with a 6" active air inline ( it's cooler winters in New England ) my girls usually hit this room at around week 2 or 3 and stay here for a couple of weeks. I let them stay in this room for a few days and then transplant into 7 gallon pots. Also in this room I begin to SCROG train and follow it all up with lollipopping normally a few days before they hit the flower room so they have time to recover before the big flip.
Flower Room: 8'x12'x6.5' walls all lined with reflective Mylar. 10" inline fan on top of a can66 carbon scrubber that just scrubs air, doesn't vent it at all. Room is currently lit by a Nanolux DE dual 600w with both the MH and HPS bulb( first time running this light, if I like it I will throw two more in the room). Also in there is a 1000w Hortilux Super HPS. Room is cooled same way as my veg for the winter.
Side note: the whole room is not full. I run a perpetual grow, 3 different stages at 3 week increments once going full bore, currently only have 2 stages running. Here are a couple of pictures of the furthest along girls, the SFV and Banana Split early picture 1 week into flower later is 2 weeks into flower. I will update pictures of all the rooms tomorrow.
